Excellent Value!

Good picture, good features, esp: - Works well with casting (except Twitch - seems mostly a Twitch limitation) - Good selection of streaming apps - Can be controlled/powered on or off by attached devices, like Google Home or Roku - Nice app for remote control. The physical remote design could use some work; it isn't easy to feel if it is right-side-up or upside-down, and the pseudo ergonomic shape doesn't help. The dedicated service buttons at the top are a joke, as are those on most remotes: Vudu, Kumo, Crackle and iHeart Radio? Who needs a hotkey for those? And I like Vudu and Crackle. Netflix and Amazon, absolutely, and it should have Hulu. All in all, very good. Just not perfect, and the remote design is the primary imperfection.

Love this tv.

I bought this tv 3 weeks ago. I like it very much. It has a great picture and the sound is better than many of the flats screens I have purchased. If there is 1 thing I wold change, it would be the app selection. You can add apps, so there are some apps I can't use with smartcast.

Great features

This tv is good. I like that the apps are included on the tv and remote for easy access. Also, I can watch tv without having cable. The only draw back is that sometimes it turns off on it's on. And doesn't turn back on until I unplug and plug the power source back in. It becomes troublesome and annoying. Other than that, good tv.

Huge Disappointment

I bought this tv and was so annoyed that smart app menu would not come up on the screen. I contacted Vizio to be informed that they don't have an ETA for the issue and once it is resolved an update would be sent to the tv. I returned the tv and got my money back.

Good/not so good

Due to the "Comono" virus, I bought this tv online.Didn't get the chance to speak to anyone, Great price but I had lots o questions to ask. It was difficult to set up.With some outside help, I figured it out. Oustanding color and sharpness on most channels, then fuzzy on others. The sound, well thats another story.Call it not so good. Not a problem. I just hooked it up to a stereo. works great.All in all love it

Vivid Display

A great product for me at a very reasonable price. I replaced my living room TV with this model and I am thrilled! Setup was easy to follow and the additional features are fun to explore. My current favorite is telling Google to turn on and off the living room TV. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to other shoppers.

great choice!

I have had for several months this now and I love it! Picture is crisp and clear! Apps that were preloaded are great and made it easier to learn. The only con is sound. At time it is hard to hear language spoken because of surrounding music... would be nice to be able to adjust...

Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my tv more than any other one I've owned. It's got really great features and is easily operated by all my kids. The picture is amazing also. It is up to date with all apps and phone interactions which are a big help as well.

It's ok

I bought this thinking it would be just as good as a Roku Tv and I regret it! I wish I could get my money back for it. I've had to reset this tv over 10 times since I've bought it. Half the time it doesn't want to play or turn on. Just a total regret. Advice don't buy this tv! Get a Roku instead.

Instructions

I bought this yesterday and there was no manual or clear instructions on programing the darn thing. It took me hours to find the settings needed and then TA DA there was the manual on the tv screen.. Didn't help with set up that it was on the TV and not a paper copy. Also there was not way to find the manual on the website as my TV M# Is not listed. V505-H1 ( or maybe V505-HL) .

The setup process for the TV is designed to move you through a full setup of the TV step by step, so when completed you will immediately have access to your favorite content. The User Manual is available in the TV's menu after the setup process if the TV was setup with an internet connection. The User Manual can also be accessed by going to support.VIZIO.com, clicking on the User Manuals box, and search for your model V505-H1. The result will show V505-H19, although the number on the end is different, this will be the correct manual as the number after -H only indicates which facility assembled the TV.
