Screen blacks out and needs to be unplugged toset

I love Vizio normally I bought this and retuned the first one bout his again and same issue. Not sure if there's something I'm missing during set up but I've never had this with other Vizio TVs. We have to unplug it to reset as the screen with just go black. I looked on YouTube and said it was a common occurrence. Should just return it as it's still under warranty but hoping there's a button I need to pushing for automatic updates that I missed. Other than this we love the tv

Great function and picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this television for 3 years now and have absolutely been blown away by the quality. The function is easy to navigate. The picture is great and sound quality is better than you would expect from a television. Would recommend this product to everyone!

Great value, easy setup and more

I was surprised by the quality. The built in speakers sound good although I had already a sound bar with an optical input and that would be the best sound option. The built-in tuner connected to antenna in an attic, easily picked up most of local HD channels, although my previous TV could not. I use it mostly with ROKU. BTW, initially I thought there were some issues (flickering), but I replaced the HDMI cable with a new one and the issue was solved.

The correct way to pronounce VIZIO....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is to the toon 'Old McDonald Had A Farm' V-I-Z-I-O. I like the TV overall, have it Ethernet plugged so responds quick. Sound is sub par. You cannot customize homepage other than app order. Picture is very nice compared to our old TV.

Good picture

I bought the Visio 4K uhd tv about 3 weeks ago. It has a great picture and fluid movement on screen. The only downside is that the speakers are a little small and as a result, the sound quality is kind of weak. Other than that, I think it's a great TV.

Junk

I Bought a Vizio 70" V series a year and a half ago. While watching a movie last night vertica green/yellow l lines appeared on the screen making watching TV impossible. I have two Emerson TVs and a 11 year old Samsung TV that have never given me trouble. Stay clear of Vizio, they only have a one year warranty and are unreliable!!

Great tv

We needed a bigger television with ability to stream Hulu and other services. This 50in Vizio fit the bill. I did purchase a sound bar (speakers are in the back -I hadn't noticed when purchasing. The sound bar is SO much better anyway! Easy to pair and works on the remote. We recently ditched cable and now just stream This Vizio also adds extra free shows and content.

Perfect Setup

I have had it as your TV for 15 years my friend just bought a Panasonic and Visio blows it out of the water. The Vizio Remote is perfectly laid out with all buttons you need accessible. Many other smart remotes have eliminated the keypad for numbers and the remote is awkward. Now with all of the built-in casting apps, No other smart TV can hold a candle to the Visio in my opinion. This is my second one and I will buy nothing but Visio from now on. Long lasting, exceptional quality, great value. Could not be happier with my purchase.

Quick access to many great features.

Wonderful tv. Great resolution and colors. I've noticed only one problem so far. When you turn on the TV and want to watch what is on the current input, it will not show up without changing input and returning back to that input. Great product otherwise.

Picture not so good

I own a 13 year old 55" Sony. I wanted to replace it in living room with a 65". So I bought this Vizio. Well, my Sony has a seriously better picture. The Vizio is washed out with blurred edges on everything, where as the Sony is bright and vivid. Vizio could not help me with any settings. I am really disappointed. How can a 13 year old TV with no modern features have a superior picture?

Hello Rickster47, I’m worried you may have misdialed or spoke with a different organization, the award-winning VIZIO tech support team absolutely can assist with adjusting picture settings. At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087.
