Good TV and video quality

Once the new the update went through, the TV has worked as expected. Works especially great when mated with a vizio 5.1 surround sound system sound bar. I would have given it 5 stars, had I not had issues when the Smartcast was not working, along with many other features due to problems with the previous firmware. During that time, my TV was pretty much useless for about a week from the time that I bought it.

Very Nice

The TV seems to be very good with only a few minor issues. The picture is extremely good and the Android interface works very well. Using the Vizio remote i can now work my FireTV stick and Google TV streamer as well - no need to change remotes! (doesn't work on Roku). The sound is very good and the option to turn off the internal speakers is a nice touch. The apps have a good selection but are limited. There are several that I have to use my other streaming devices for. One thing I don't like is the inability to change the aspect ratio on most of the viewing options. I believe the only one I can is the OTA channels via the antenna. The only problem I've really had is the antenna input. At first it appeared to be defective because it would not keep the signal - walking across the room would start or stop it. I have it working now so it may just have been my connection. Overall, I'm very pleased with TV!!

Largest TV that fit my cabinet

This is an upgrade over my smaller Visio screen. The older one still works as a medium resolution monitor for my laptop. This new TV is being used to stream from the internet using Amazon Firestick 4K only with no cable TV. It works well with a more than adequate picture.

Disappointed

I have had to reset it multiple times and then put in all my passwords to my apps over again. It's frustrating. It also will freeze up and go black. Only way to get it to turn off is to unplug it. At times, It won't show the home page at all, it will only access Netflix. I've only had this TV for about 3 months. I've never had problems with my TVs in the past so in my ignorance I didn't purchase protection.

A little disappointed

I'm a little disappointed in the tv in that: 1). I would like a power button on the actual tv. 2). When changing the channel, the display is too small. I can't see which channel I am on and there is no way to adjust this. 3). The picture is milky looking for about the first 5 or ten minutes when it's first turned on. 4). The remote is so sensitive that hardly a touch activities buttons and then I need to try to figure out how to cancel whatever was pressed. 5). I miss not having a light on the tv that shows that the power is on. 6). I don't find the remote very user friendly. All in all it is a nice tv for the price, but I may have been happier with a different brand.

Hi Carol7! Your TV does have a power button on it. The power button is located on the back of the TV by the lower right hand corner. There are also volume buttons and an input button located there. The TV also has a power light setting in the System Menu under Reset & Admin that will keep the light on when your TV is powered on. great choice!

I have had for several months this now and I love it! Picture is crisp and clear! Apps that were preloaded are great and made it easier to learn. The only con is sound. At time it is hard to hear language spoken because of surrounding music... would be nice to be able to adjust...

Good/not so good

Due to the "Comono" virus, I bought this tv online.Didn't get the chance to speak to anyone, Great price but I had lots o questions to ask. It was difficult to set up.With some outside help, I figured it out. Oustanding color and sharpness on most channels, then fuzzy on others. The sound, well thats another story.Call it not so good. Not a problem. I just hooked it up to a stereo. works great.All in all love it

Huge Disappointment

I bought this tv and was so annoyed that smart app menu would not come up on the screen. I contacted Vizio to be informed that they don't have an ETA for the issue and once it is resolved an update would be sent to the tv. I returned the tv and got my money back.

Love the watch free button!

Satisfied with this tv. It has everything I was looking for. Wish there was a YouTube button on the remote but can live without it when all the apps pop up. Just a few clicks then my little ones are on YouTube. Well, I've always had a Vizio tv but this has got to be the best one yet!

Mine didn't work so well

The mirror casting doesn't work. I didn't buy it for this feature but I was happy that it had it. Then I was disappointed because it doesn't work. The cord is on the short side. Our house is older and it's not our priority to do electrical things at this point. We just got it today so I haven't experienced it all.
