There are some country specific limitations being in Canada. Sometimes it's not responsive may be because of loading the software, I do restart to resumes as expected.

Several times while watching a show I've had to restart the show because when it comes out of a break there's no picture. And today I haven't been able to watch anything because the app's aren't working. I've have my old Vizio for over 10 years with no problems. With this one I can't say that. I've only had it for 3 months and I'm not happy about it. As of right now I'm not going to say I'd recommend it.

I bought this a month ago and it has been one of the best tvs I've purchased. Losing your remote is every other day in my house. I bought this television to replace a Visio lcd that I had for years. It's my first 4K. It's my first smart tv. I also bought a Samsung to stack on top for my computer (smart 4K as well). the programming on the Vizio is far superior. The remote for the Visio is smooth and more practical. I look forward to my next Vizio.

The app management is not a great idea. Apps come and go. This TV has no Disney+ and no AppleTV. I know there is SmartCast and The Apple projection thing, but it is not good enough. The image suffers. There are a metric ton of useless apps. What a waste. I can't do what I want. I bought a Roku stick to resolve the Vizio shortcomings.

I bought this tv 6 months ago. Picture quality is fair, but not spectacular. User interface software is poor, and the Smart softwear is very basic. Remote control is small and very limited. I purchased an external tv box to make up for the deficiency, and plan to buy a better remote control.

The picture quality doesn't seem as good as some of the smaller Visio TVs I've seen or own but still a good TV for the price. I enjoy the programming options available on some of the installed apps. TV was fairly easy to set up. I did lose the picture on one occasion but resetting TV to factory settings and starting over corrected the issue.

This is my second Vizio TV purchase. The excel in every way. There are only two improvements I would like to see made. But the screen comes on a little quicker and that the model I got add Freeform which I thought it had when I purchased it., but it is a great TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So it was time to upgrade our bedroom TV and my wife and I chose the VIZIO V-Series® 58" Class 4K HDR Smart TV | V585x-H1. It was relatively inexpensive and met our requirements. We wanted 4K as well as some smart capabilities our friends had mentioned. For the setup - we have a soundbar (also from Visio) and it was seamless to plug in the optical cable - it automatically worked. The coolest thing that I didn't even know was possible is I can stream from my Apple devices with this TV. It also has Apple TV which we didn't have on our old TV. I'm also impressed by the picture quality. This TV is what we watch at night. It was surprising how much better everything looked. I didn't expect such a radical improvement in picture quality and such an improvement to our night time movie time. Overall I rate this TV 5 stars - you get way more than expected from the very reasonable price.

The picture was good. The only problem I had with the tv is that what apps were pre-loaded on the TV that was it. I could not download any other apps to it. What smart tv doesn't offer Sling?! I returned it because I couldn't customize the apps I actually use.
