Picture quality is good

I received this as a Father's Day gift in 2020. The picture is good, and the price is very affordable. However don't care for the fact I can't add or delete apps. Start in December it began to have issues with what I believe is software. I am contacting customer service today I will update review after it's resolved

little things

Bought this about two months ago, I'm pretty sad I can't download apps like HBO Max or Stars directly on the tv, even though it is advertised as being able to download something like 50+ apps. You have to download them on your phone and cast them. It often crashes/closes out of Netflix or Hulu suddenly and goes to home screen, and when turning up or down the volume it lags like crazy! Sometimes the volume works though.

Air play!

Other than the smart TV channels already installed, I love the ability to use Apple air play with the TV. So much so that this is my second Vizio TV purchase in three months, and I convinced my friend to purchase two for her home. We both love our new TVs.

Glitchy But Very Nice Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for a few years. It still works very well except for the smart features. I was only able to get it to connect to my Alexa app for a few months in the beginning. Then the app updated and I haven't been able to use voice commands since. Which is a main reason I bought this TV. I only ever watch TV while I'm doing artwork with both hands like sewing or knitting. And even when I do have the remote handy, the ok button rarely works when trying to pause or make a selection. This causes a lot of aggravation and I end up leaving the TV on pause or the home screen because I find it so difficult to do otherwise. So fairly early on in the life of the TV, it developed burnout. A dark area in the middle of the screen that's quite big. It's like a reverse vignette. It doesn't seem visible while watching TV but is extremely apparent on the home screen and on info screens. Overall, I really love this TV and the incredible sound and picture. I just really wish it worked as it was designed to. I got it on a really good deal, otherwise I think I'd be super bitter if I paid full price for a TV that had features I couldn't use. Knowing the risk of these glitches, I'd still very much recommend this model if the sale is good.

Great picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy with our new tv. The picture and color is fantastic. Works well with the hd channels. So many great smart tv features as well. Very thin and looks great in our living room. The sound quality was important to us and did not disappoint.

Absolutely love it

I use to be a Sony guy when it came to tv's but after getting a VIZIO I've never went back and would never even look at a Samsung or LG tv. I love the picture quality,sound,and how casting options as well as WatchFree! I got this tv for my mother because she had an outdated and old tv and she can't seem to turn the tv off! Customer service has also been great to me when it comes to replacements or tech support.

Great picture quality

Great picture quality and I love all the apps it comes with, however the sound isn't the greatest. So I purchased a Vizio sound bar w/subwoofer and I love it. It really brings everything to life. Easy setup and the some apps are free and even vizio has a free selection as well.

Visio throughout the house!

The last Visio was just retired after 7 years 14 hrs a day. how would i ever think of going with another brand. Picture perfect. Surprised at the super easy setup with the remote. I purchased a soundbar this time and it makes everything 1000% better. Nothing wrong with the TV sound except the volumn is a little weak. I'm grew up in the 60's and it's has to be loud. especially the music!!!

No ability to browse internet

I bought the Vizio to replace a previous 40" flat-screen that was a joy to use and I could browse the internet. Imagine my disappointment when I hooked up the Vizio and found that their "Smart TV" is to dumb to browse the internet. I am returning the unit and buying a new model of my previous unit.

Great TV

Wonderfully surprised by the quality of this economically priced product. Dont think just because it doesn't break the bank that it doesn't perform like others that cost way more. It has performed very comparable to those higher end brands that I've been used to purchasing. Pleased so far!!
