Great picture, more smart than before

I have an old 70, that hung on the wall about 6 years. Because we didn't turn it off at night, I have just noticed a little screen burn. After seeing it without the burn for years, the old Vizio is being replaced/upgraded. It was a good one, and best Customerservice ever, because the original purchase had a flaw in the screen. I called Vizio and they shipped a new one, set it up, and packaged the other to return for me. I have never had such a good customer service experience. So I am back for Vizio.

Needs to have access to more streaming networks

We have only had it for a week and we had trouble getting access to the networks we needed for all the shows we watch. We also lost our connection and had to reset it once and it took us forever to find out what and how to fix it (we still had internet connection on the computer and phones). I guess it just takes time to learn since this is our first smart tv.

Awful from day 1.

Awful TV. The interface is confusing, simple apps like HBO MAX are missing, smartcast hardly ever works and when it does, it shuts off so quickly. The worst part is the lip sync has been off for 75% of when we've had this TV. We have to turn the tv on, off, and on again to fix it every single time we use it. The volume is inconsistent between programs and it is constantly freezing. Can't say one good thing about this TV.

reply from Customer Care

Hello Toad2441, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback. From your description of the issue, it seems like the TV might not be fully up to date with the most recent firmware. Recent updates have made general improvements to the TVs performance along with adding the HBO Max application to the SmartCast Home. To check for updates go to Menu > Admin & Privacy and select Check for Updates. Another feature that might be helpful would be the Volume Leveling found by going to Menu > Audio. This feature will help balance out the audio changes between content and commercials. For more trouble shooting with lip syncing and freezing, don’t hesitate to contact us by going to support.vizio.com and clicking ‘contact us’.

Good picture quality and a clear sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our Vizio 50" TV for about 2 years. It has been a very reliable television. I've purchased other brands in the past. I would have to say that Vizio is definitely one of the best for the price.

Like features and apps.

Everything is decent so far except the light around edge of screen being so bright it distracts bad from viewing. It's REALLY BAD. About 3 inches or so. Was difficult to get this 70 inch tv in my ride and in my home. I hope I can return it with no issues. And now I see lots of bad YouTube reviews. Sigh.

Impressed with features

I received this TV as a Christmas present. So it is a TV that I did not do any research about. I set it up and I have been enjoying using the many features that I have figured out. I like the wide variety of things that stream through the TV, I like the clear and vivid images, and I like the ease of the remote control. So far I have no complaints but I truly don't use it as often as an average person.

It's pretty good

It has great picture and sound. It also functions well so far but I've only had it for a couple of weeks. I'm used to my bigger roku tv in my living room so I'm used to having a home screen when I turn on my tv but it's not a big deal that this one doesn't have one. My only complaint is if I accidentally put it on smartcast it won't let me change it or do anything with the remote for a while and it's like it gets frozen. Overall am happy with purchase/price of this tv.

It's pretty nice but there are a few small problem

Great picture, lots of aps, easy setup. All of the gear that I plugged in was recognized right away, (eg.) the sound bar, the Roku, and the bluray. I am having some problems with the sound, however. Sometimes the volume control on the T.V remote doesn't work and I have to use the SB remote. I often have to change the audio out setting because the lip sync is really out of sync. Other than that, the T.V. is pretty great. I bought it to replace an older Vizio that still worked well but wasn't as smart.

Great TV!

I was looking for a smaller 4K TV for gaming and TV programs. Vizio was my first choice being a previous model owner. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the TV with the new Xbox Series X. I'm a casual gamer, so I chose the V Series. I haven't experienced any latency or performance issues. I'm happy with my choice. I was amazed at the 4K picture with TV streaming.

Home screen didn't work

The home screen was completely black. After talking to a representative I was told it was a known issue and they are working on a update to fix it. I asked how long it would be and they told me they couldn't give me a time frame. So they expected me to keep a tv that I could use for Netflix or Hulu or even connecting a xbox to it and using it because the home screen wouldn't show anything.
