Apps don't load properly

I bought this tv and it worked good for a while, now apps won't load, programs stop in the middle for buffering issues, voice and sound does not match movie time line. TV programs will start after a commercial break and play for 30 seconds and then cut off and restart again. Called Vizio support they were friendly but still could not fix the issue. Time to through the TV in the garbage and buy a Sony

Great!

I havrnot used all the features but it great to know I can get all my new apps like Disney +, etc all in one place! The picture quality is great but sound quality leaves something to be desired, maybe a sound bar would help that out! Overall, love the tv.

Mostly great...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good picture, but rye sound is lacking added a sound bar. Biggest frustration is the remote - has to be point directly at the bottom right corner to work effectively, any deviation and it doesn't work. The VIZO app provides good content.

More than I thought

Was looking at the 42 inch but saw the 50 on roll back for 20 more. Great picture, even my cat likes it. Comes with watch free and you get tons of stations and even music channels, combine with Netflix or Vudo it's all you really need. I play my games on it and great action pictures, no blurs.

Love it! Just one issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv has lasted about 3/4 years now. It's great! The only thing is that once in a while the sound will turn off when there's quiet moments in videos/ movies. Problem seems to be resolved on its own and then the issue returns. It's annoying but besides that the tv is great!

It's great!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had it for almost a year now and it has a clean crisp picture and sound…Rhe only bad thing I have to say about it is the picture stopped working for about 2months I tried everything and almost threw it away then I decide to plug it in 1 last time and it worked it took a while to update but no problems after it updated…Abd the best part about it is there is a free remote app for parents when their child(ren) lose the remote lol

Amazing Value

I bought this in the last month and no regrets. So many features, amazing picture, easy set up. Of course I had a few options when looking for a new tv, and feel strongly that I made a great choice. Would highly recommend this tv for anyone considering. Only advice, as with many of these new slim TV's sound could be greatly improved with a sound bar which I already had.

Vizio V-series 55" LCD TV

My five year old LG burned out, probably from a power surge. This was its replacement. So I am comparing it to that one. This one has strange sound issues. A lot of what I watch has these strange breaks in the sound when the volume get low, almost like a mute circuit. You don't miss much but it is distracting. Also, the picture washes out as you get off center, much worse than the LG was. While the LG did cost more five years ago, it was the budget model then too. I keep it off the internet because I cant stream out here in the country anyway and that keeps it from constantly down load updates and junk. My experience with technology is you don't update unless there is an issue. I am much happier since I turned off all that extra audio stuff and told it to use plain audio.

Worst 55" smart TV Ever

I have had nothing but problems. Had to call Vizio 5 different times. They sent repair man out to change speakers and one electronic board. Still have problems. TV got stuck on smart cast. Volume levels would have to be changed change from 35% to 65% to obtain same listening level. Twice the TV when turned on would come on then shut off, Had to do a reset to get it to work. When I would mute the volume it would not unmute, had to turn TV off and then back on. I have bought probably 8 TV's in my life and this is the 1st that I have had problems with. I will never buy or recommend a Vizio again.

Not Working

I set up my new TV just 4 days ago and up until this afternoon, it has been great. Now it will give me the information bar only. No channels at all. I've tried several different things and am now on the Vizio website looking to see if there is something about this under "Support". If not, the TV will go back tomorrow.
