I've been a loyal Bounty user for over 20 years. Recently I noticed that they are less absorbent. They're thinner and rougher. They cost more but perform less. I used to spray 2 squirts of cleaner and use a half sheet to wipe the counter and the towel just got damp. Now, the towel gets soaked from the same 2 squirts of cleaner and it begins to shred apart if I continue to wipe another area, something I used to be able to do. Instead, now I have to use 2-3 times what I used to use in order to complete the same task. These paper towels are no longer of value to me, they're not worth buying again. I'm disappointed that Bounty would cheapen their product like this - AND! - charge more money for it. I will not be buying Bounty Paper Towels any more.

I've always loved Bounty paper towels but this last pack I got I've noticed that the quality has decreased dramatically- to the point where I noticed it right away. The towels are stiffer and just feel cheap. I'll continue to use this pack and if this change ends up improving absorption or it's cleaning effectiveness somehow then I'll change my rating, but my first impression of this new product is not great.

We use (might become 'used') a lot of paper towels and have always purchased Bounty for many reasons. We have noticed a poorer quality of paper (feel and thickness) lately but so far this has been more of a textural issue rather than an absorbency issue; however, the absorbency has been an issue at times. We have found that we can no longer cleanly rip off one sheet. The roll just spins or it rips at the 2nd or 3rd sheet. No, we have not changed our towel rack nor how we handle the rolls. We also find that the end piece is glued down so tight that when trying to start the role it always tears the top row and the next layer of paper as well. Some of the sheets splitting mid sheet rather than at the perforated spot.

I have been using Bounty for many years and I have recently noticed a change in the quality of the product. The sheets are thinner and weaker and they tear easily across the sheet instead of breaking along the perforated edges as the older product. Something definitely has changed in the manufacturing process as the product has deteriorated in quality. How unfortunate, but I hope you find this feedback helpful, as intended. Regards Umar

I wrapped oour Christmas ornaments with Bounty Paper Towels over 5 years ago. When I re-wrapped some ornaments, the 2022 and 2023 Bounty Paper towels were so much rougher and less thick. No cushion like the older ones. The quality obviously got worse, less product materials and much cheaper results.

What a disappointment I had when opening a new package of paper towels this week. I immediately noticed the texture change & that they are thinner. After a few uses I also see the overall quality has changed. Get them wet and right away you experience the towel coming apart in layers. I'm sorry that I have a big package of these crummy towels now. I guess they'll become garage towels. Decades of consistently using a product and now I'm forced to look for an alternative. I changed to Bounty 20+ years ago for the strength, thickness & durability. Now I'll leave Bounty due to its weakness, being thin & having no durability. :(

To preface, Bounty is my paper towel of choice. Hands down one of the best, most absorbent products on the market. The problem I'm having is understanding the size differences and accessibility to larger rolls. For comparison on your site, you list roll sizes: Regular, Double, Triple, Triple Plus, and Mega However I've seen additional rolls in-store and online (including your drop down menu after clicking "Buy Now") such as: Huge, Family, Double Plus, "Enourmous", Advanced Plus? What are the actual differences? I find myself aimlessly purchasing randomized sizes based on what's available in my local grocery store vs having an actual understanding of what it is I'm purchasing. I wouldn't have thought I needed an algebraic formula to figure this out. I'd appreciate a little more transparency regarding your product sizes, but appreciate the consistency of the product itself. For the last 25 years the Only paper towel that was allowed in our home was Bounty and it saddens me to say but after this last batch is gone we will never have Bounty in her home again. Even though I knew it couldn't be possible I thought maybe we just got a bad batch but then I went to the website to see if there were changes made because these towels were so different and disappointing and I started reading the reviews. All of the complaints that other purchasers spoke of are the same as ours. Then with your replies you tell one reviewer that you haven't made any changes while telling another that you have made changes, well it's evident that you have changed the product and not for the better. I didn't mind paying more money for the quality that we got with your paper towels but I can get your new product at a much cheaper price so unfortunately we will be switching brands. So many items have changed or cheapened over the years but we knew with Bounty we were always getting a great product, it's disappointing that now even Bounty has let us down. I know for a fact you have lost a lot of business because of this and I guarantee you will continue losing customers so if this bothers you at all you will go back to producing the old product that kept loyal customers coming back for decades.

I remember when bounty actually was absorbent. Napkins too! These past few years their softness and absorbency is a stiffer and and less efficient product. Much more like an inferior generic brand. And the cost is outrageous! What happened to your quality???

So disappointed with the obvious changes in bounty paper towels. No longer the same quality and not worth the price. I think they are skipping a few layers in a classic shrinkflation move. Wouldn't have purchased 2 big packages recently had I realized.
