Let’s start with function. I live in an apartment and my tub shows every bit of soap scum, hard water buildup, and mystery residue if I so much as skip a week of scrubbing. I’ve tried every cleaner under the sun, sprays, gels, DIY concoctions and nothing got the job done without serious elbow grease. This sponge, though? It handled it with minimal effort. I wet it slightly, gave the tub a few solid swipes, and honestly it looked like someone had resurfaced the porcelain. Even the weird discoloration around the drain lifted without me having to dig in or use chemicals that make your eyes water. The texture is perfect, not too rough, but firm enough to hold up during a deep clean. It doesn’t disintegrate mid-use like some knockoff melamine sponges I’ve tried. And the added foaming cleanser inside it saves an extra step, which I appreciate when I’m short on time. Now for the lavender scent: it’s subtle, not overwhelming or artificial. I was half-expecting something aggressively floral, but it’s more like a soft clean-linen-meets-lavender vibe. It left the bathroom smelling fresh without clashing with my other cleaning products or candles. Only heads-up: I’d recommend wearing gloves if you have sensitive skin. The cleaner built into the sponge is effective, but it can be a little drying after a full scrub-down session. Also, one sponge usually lasts me one or two full bathroom cleans before I need to swap it out. Overall, highly recommend. The lavender scent smells great. You can easily spot the difference in cleaning compared to a standard sponge.

The eraser felt very durable and like it would last a long time! It cleaned my dirty bathroom sink in no time at all. I was actually sent the ultra bath version with Febreze lavender scented suds. While I enjoyed the soap aspect for cleaning purposes, I don’t typically prefer lavender. This particular one was pleasant but not my personal preference.

I'll start with the obvious, I selected the ultra thick eraser to test and review but received the lavender ultra bath eraser instead. It works great! I love the brand and it was the only thing that would get the stains out of my tea mug. I took one star off though, because I hate lavender scent. But if you like lavender, this is for you!

These magical sponges make it so easy to clean almost anything. My only issue is that they tend to fall apart easily. The New Ultra Bath from Mr Clean is more durable and the best thing is how effortless it is to clean the shower doors! My bathroom is sparkling clean - the tub, sinks and countertops. You add water, squish it up a bit, and then bam it's ready to go. No need to waste precious time finding a cleaning solution because this already has it built in. Also, it smells nice!
