Unfortunately, it was a bust for our family as an adult. I think they are a great side. You might even be able to class it up a little by adding toppings. The jalapeño taste was not fake at all and it actually had a good little spice to it. Wouldn’t recommend for children, but would recommend for adult adults.

As a kids product (I don’t personally choose Mac & Cheese, unless I’m feeding the kids), this was waaayy to spicy!! Even for my taste buds that can handle mild to medium, I would consider this a level: “Spicy to Extra Spicy”. I just saw the box states “a bit of spicy”, this feels like false advertising. If there was a spice meter I would give it 3 out of 4 spicy levels. The Mac & cheese would improve if there was 1/3 the amount of spiciness. Also, an option is to note the level of spicy and offer a much milder choice. At this level of spicy, we won’t be buying Jalapeño Mac & Cheese.
