There's a very very mild amount of heat, but not a lot of any kind of pepper flavor to go with it which makes it a little strange. Not bad, but not the flavor profile I thought it would be. It would probably make up into a really good casserole, though. Add some ground beef, slice up some jalapeños, some tomatoes and black beans, top it off with some shredded lettuce and maybe a dab of sour cream.

It’s not too spicy which feels like a mild spicy for me. I would definitely recommend if you can have a spicy food or would love to try. This is one of the best choices.

It did have a jalapeno flavor to it as well (so not just the spiciness but the flavor as well) which I liked, although it wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting, which was disappointing. My partner felt it should have more flavor and less heat. I actually liked it a little better mixed with the ranch mac & cheese.

My son said it was a little spicy, but he didn’t really taste the jalepeno flavor, just the spice. We won’t usually buy Mac & cheese, but my boys enjoyed trying this out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a bit of a jalapeno powder type of taste to this mac and cheese so if you've ever used jalapeno powder to cook or had jalapeno chips you would know what I am talking about here. There is a light kick that I noticed but it is extremely light for anyone used to spice, of course. The flavor profile is good if you like regular Kraft Dinner and would definitely be an upgrade if you were going to grab a box of Kraft Dinner. The jalapeno flavor is pretty light - much lighter than the ranch counterpart so I would prefer a stronger flavor personally but otherwise I am happy!

I love ranch and my son loves spicy things like jalapenos so we were both happy! He liked the jalepeno one, it wasn't too spicy he said and I loved the ranch, I put ranch on just about everything. The flavor is subtle, but you get that nice little kick at the end. It's the same creamy cheesy goodness you know and love, with a spicy kick. I love that it's easy to make, simple instructions that my kids can make it themselves.

The taste is still classic creamy and cheesy but with extra layer of heat! If you like fire in your food it's for you! I'm a bit sensitive and prefer milder taste but my husband enjoyed it. He did say that it would be better with Bueno autumn roast green chili but it's pretty good!
