We like spicy snacks, so we were excited to try this out. The 1st thing my son said was, " Wow, that kicks." We had our mac and cheese with Jalapeño with lunch. I had to have a sandwich and glass of milk with mine to cool my tongue down. Another great product from Kraft.

You can definitely taste the bold jalapeno flavor coming through the mac and cheese and the heat that comes with it! I was definitely excited to try this new mac and cheese flavor from Kraft because it was so different. I would definitely purchase this product again for myself and for my family, moreso for my family because I have a low spice tolerance. Personally, I prefer the stove top version as the cups get mushy when cooked. This jalapeño flavor is ok. It is hotter than I expected, and the jalapeño is almost overwhelming. I did need to add salt, which surprised me as I normally find these sufficient in sodium. My daughter says this flavor is ok as well but said she would prefer the original.

Thus is for the adult kids who are nostalgic for boxed Mac and cheese with a twist. Jr honestly tastes like MS Vickie's jalapeno chips flavoring on the Mac and cheese. Has a decent kick and gives me queso vibes. If you've been to Austin you know. Not quite as good as that but it will do.
