The open run pro headphones

The open run pro headphones are great. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing them as they are the lightest pair as I have now three sets. Battery life is great. The magnetic lock is excellent method of connecting. The sound is awesome though I’m still learning. I recommend strongly to purchase. As I have purchased five(5) headsets as gifts to my friends. I Will only listen now with Shokz headphones as no others compare.

Open run work for me

Office time, running time, working in the yard, shop, etc. these are good for it all. Microphone pickup is good for listener and seems to not exaggerate some environmental noises as other Bluetooth ear buds do. Sound is plenty good enough for podcasts and music. Love open ear

Fantastic for all day use, podcasts, calls, comfort. Good for music.

Sounds are conducted to our auditory nerves (Cranial Nerve VIII, or CN VIII) through two conduits: air and bone. Air is the one familiar to most of us - sound waves in the air enter the ear canal. They make the ear drum vibrate, which makes tiny bones in the middle ear vibrate (these tiny bones are not to be confused with bone conduction, described next), which send information to CN III. The other pathway is bone conduction. A vibrating object, say a tuning fork, or the contact surfaces of these headphones, in direct contact with the skull bones, send the vibrations directly to CN VIII. Cranial Nerve VIII then sends the information to the brain's auditory processing center. These bone conduction headphones are fantastic because they induce sound fidelity that is almost as good as ear buds. But since they are not in the ear canal, they are supremely comfortable. I am able to wear them all day, listening to podcasts, making calls, etc, with none of the annoyance and discomfort of ear buds. Is music fidelity equal to my AirPods? Not quite. But I don't use earbuds for music anyway, so it is not a concern. Bottom line: if you like earphones for non-music purposes, or music but are not concerned with the highest possible fidelity, then I highly recommend these for their utility and comfort.

Great headphones

Awesome ability to listen to music while working and still being able to hear what's going on around you. The battery lasts forever, very surprised. Doesn't have the bass sound like Bose & Beats, hence the 4 stars, but the other qualities make up for that.

Amazing Headphones!

I purchased these for my fiancé as a gift, he loves them, much better than the typical headphones that go into your ear canal, as these can cause irritation. The sound is great and he loves that you can still hear your surroundings while hearing the music clearly.

I love my Openrun Pro

I love my Openrun Pro headset! It's awesome! Very lightweight and comfortable. I can pair them with 2 things at the same time. I use the with my phone and work computer. The sound seems better than the Openrun. They charge very quickly and last a long time. I'm glad I moved up to them.

Go for it - totally worth it!

Love my new headphones! They are so comfortable. The weight is so well balanced it’s like they’re not even there. Also not an issue with wearing sunglasses at the same time. Running, playing disc golf, and even just gardening. I returned the regular open runs - the sound quality is much better on the pros. I’ve been telling everyone. They’re a game changer. 😎

Not as good as expected.

I have owned 3 sets of aftershock titanium and they were great . But the New open run pros do not seem to be as loud as my others and the charge does not seem to last as long . I don’t know maybe there is something wrong with this pair . I will contact Shokz and find out . But as of right now I would not buy them again I would buy the titanium version again.

Just what I wanted

So comfortable and safe. I can heard road noise and still listen to my podcast on morning walks. My concern is the fit. They stick out rather far in the back and as I get bundled up for walking they rub my scarf and collar of my winter coat. Hard to wear a headband with them. I still love them and enjoying the otherwise comfort. The overall sound and dimension of the music is awesome.

Overall very good

Overall I like it alot. The sound quality is not as good as I hoped but still good, and given that the ear canal is not occluded, allowing one to hear, acceptable. A little strange getting used to the vibrations from the device on the skin. I feel comfortable using it on my bike which I have never done before with any other device. And I love that they don’t fall off.
