Use as phone is excellent, microphone picks up well and calls come through clearly. Use as headphones for music is ok, not really comparable to a high quality in ear or over ear headphone. Volume isn’t there, clarity isn’t there, bass isn’t there. For use running they work fine, nice to have music in the background and still be able to hear what’s going on. They stay on quite well which is the biggest point in their favor.

I had a pair before this and loved them so much. After 2 or so years… I broke them accidentally. Heartbroken, I ordered the latest and greatest. I use these a lot in my car while on commute. Sadly, I can’t hear my podcasts nearly as well as my old set. I’ve resorted to putting the earpiece directly in my ear (one ear at a time). I realize that using some earplugs might help…. That’s the next step. They are really nice, don’t get me wrong. I was just spoiled by my old pair.

Sound quality is very good. I would have liked for the head set to have some "bend-ability" so that I could more closely fit device to the ear. Controls work well and a single charge lasts several hours. Bone conduction technology eliminates need for in ear fit, so no more "runners ear". Noise cancellation is somewhat effective. This could be improved.

I use these headphones constantly. Running, biking, doing chores around the house. I'm on my third set after I wore out the first and my son chucked a log and smashed the second. Each time I ordered another one the same day. I've always struggled with earbuds falling out while I exercise and I love that I never have to worry about these coming off. I choose the mini version, fits closer to the back of your head.

The headphones sound loud inside (example in a store) but are pretty much useless when there is constant noise outside- on public transport, on a busy street, basically any city sounds make it impossible to hear via headphones. So unfortunately not useful for sports if you’re in a city.

I have had various pairs of the open run. They are awesome and warranty depart is awesome too!! This new Open Run Pro, has a lot of things to address. The Bluetooth range needs to be addressed. I had my phone in my pants pocket and it was having issues. The microphone is awful. I have to tell so people can hear me. Also the volume buttons need an upgrade compared to other brand.

My headphones failed (loose transducer) only a few weeks after my two-year warranty had expired. Shokz filed a claim on my behalf and replaced the unit. What a relief. Initially, due to strict software parameters I would guess, I was not able to file a claim. I contacted the customer happiness team and they responded immediately and let me know the unit would be replaced. Personally I love the headphones. I use them at work, on the golf course and while working out. I hate running, but do use during P90X workouts. If I had an issue to be critical about, some folks have complained about hearing my voice when using as a headset. So maybe the microphone needs a little improvement?

I have 65% hearing loss since I was 20 years old, compliments to active military. I use my VA hearing aids at full volume all the time but with the OpenRun Pro I need to turn the hearing aid volume down to about 50%. So basically I now have plenty of volume when I need it But I still have issues with very soft voices. Also the open run Pro does not have enough volume if I do not have my hear aids. I would like to try the Pro 2 that just recently came out.

First pair we bought was like 8 years ago at a RunDisney expo. We now have like 6 pairs. For home, exercise and older ones for like yard work and such. Love the fact that they have great sound but you can still hear the world around you. It’s also great not to have your ears hurt and collect dripping sweat (I know gross)

It’s all about the sound clarity and Bass response for me. These sound great! I bought them specifically for the gym because I have defective ears that don’t play well with AirPods. The Shokz are exactly what I needed. They stay on my head even when I’m laying on my back.
