The audio quality took me by surprise when I first tried on my OpenRun Pro. It was a weird experience to hear sound so clearly without an in-ear "bud" or headphone. The experience running in these for the first time was super smooth with a simple connection process and a comfortable on head feel. Through my entire run the OpenRun Pro was secure and totally seamless with no drop off in the connection. Plus the battery life was great and everything worked as expected. I Especially like the travel case. Thank you Shokz!!

Really impressed by these headphones! Feels much safer to use when biking. The audio is surprisingly good and the device charges quickly. I have a pretty big head and was nervous they wouldn’t fit comfortably but they fit great! I like to listen to podcasts, I wish the multi button wasn’t a sensitive, when I try to double or triple click too fast forward or reverse I tend to pause instead, but maybe I’ll get the hang of it. Already recommending these to friends!

They are good for listening, but they rub on my ear area and I can't wear them for long periods of time. It is very uncomfortable. Having small ears I will never find a head set that will work for me, ear buds are two big and the shockz are are too big and to small at the same time. I just can win.

I'm a relatively new runner within the past year, and have worked my way up to running longer distances. I was in the market for new headphones that would allow me to attend to my surroundings when running through my neighborhood while still enjoying music. I've been pleasantly surprised by these open ear headphones. I unfortunately have to wear a few other items due to severe allergies (filtered allergy mask, sun glasses) but the headphones still fit comfortably with everything else around my ears and don't budge. I've used them twice so far and worked up a sweat and they appear to be pretty resilient against the extra moisture (and easy to clean). I wasn't expecting significant bass or anything like that, but the overall sound quality is good. If you are around something else that is emitting louder sound (passing car, dog) you will hear that over any music, but that's the point. The battery life seems pretty good, and they charge relatively quickly. So far, I'm impressed! I hope that they continue to hold up with extended use.

I tried these after issues with my Bose QC NC earbuds. Sound is great and multipoint connect makes it really easy to switch between my phone and iPad. The only thing I don’t like is how strap connecting the pair is somewhat rigid so my clothing and hair sometimes interfere with it. Fortunately the headphones stay put for the most part.

These are incredible headphones for hearing your external surroundings. They are not great when external noises (cars) supersede your content. They do buzz rather than bass when your music is cranked to overcome external noises. My shoegaze needs are well served, my hip-hop/rap needs are underserved. At the end of the day, they are what they are. Believe what they say.

I have the Open move as well so my review will compare the two. Sound quality is excellent, but it also doesn't seem to get as loud as the Open move. I purchased these so get the rear wraparound lower for better clearance with over the ear hats. Unfortunately the fit compared to the Open move is worse. It causes pain around my ears after a couple hours. Sooner if worn for consecutive days. They pair quicker and are easier to use. The pause/play multi use button is a little harder to hit, which means my bike helmet doesn't hit it randomly but then is more cumbersome. Overall I would not have purchased them if not for my cold climate needs.

and I absolutely LOVE mine! i was looking for new earbuds and it just so happened someone i knew was wearing a pair of Shokz. i asked about them, they let me try them on, and BOOM, i went home and ordered myself a pair. i am considering buying more as gifts but will wait until the holidays.

The upgrade to the Openrun Pro is not substantial as I expected. Improvement is the sound quality, weight and comport. I was disappointed in the sound level seem to be lower and the battery life was not as much louder. I compete and wear Shokz daily. Possibly I am overusing which is leading to a average of 2 years and they stop functioning. This has not stopped me from a new purchase. 2020 my Openrun lasted 2 years. A warranty exchange a month before expiring. Stop working. 2022 same issue after the warranty. I upgraded to Openrun Pro only cause of the Black Friday Sale. I am not getting 10 hours of music and calls. Maybe if the volume is very very low.

I love the extra run time over my old set. The sound quality is great. I like the smaller size because it fits my head better. The new charging port is easier to use, but I am concerned that the proprietary cable may be expensive to replace should I loose or damage the one that came with the headset.
