I love these so much I bought 3 (mini, openrun, and openrun pro). Being able to hear sounds on the mountain bike trails and still listen to music is awesome. I also use these for work to be on meetings and everyone can hear me and I can hear them perfectly. Regular earbuds always fall out of my ears, so these are a game changer and never move on me. I have yet to have the battery life run out on my long rides or long work days.

I so wanted to be free from putting earbuds in my ear, so I had high hopes. But I'm petite enough that even the size small were too big, and uncomfortable with my hair worn down over them. Possibly the pair I had were malfunctioning, but I would hear an occasional "bzzip" sound. Lastly, while I think I have strong hearing, I would turn these all the way up and still struggle to hear over auto sounds. I hope a smaller pair will eventually be released and that a snugger fit will improve the sound quality, or that the band could be adjustable depending on hair styles? I wish the new earbuds were bone conducting, then the size of the band wouldn't matter.

They are ok for what I use em for but I feel like the mini is still too big for my head. There seems to be so much space still and they move more than I like when using them. The sound quality on the other hand is pretty good. And then are pretty simple to operate.

This is my 2nd pair of Shokz. The battery life is longer, I haven't yet ran out of battery. I use them every day at work listening to both books and music, in both cases the sound clarity is perfect. My 1st pair started giving me problems after 2 yrs of use. I tried to replace them with an in ear set of blue tooth headsets I got, they frustrated me every time I had to take them out to communicate with coworkers, and the in ear head phones get annoying, I'm not sure if it's the weight or the pressure they put on the ear canals. The open ear is perfect to hear what's going on around me at work, I can wear them all day with no problems. Thank you Shokz.

Battery life doesn't live through running a marathon in 5 hours. I bought these with excitement the week of and should have tested ahead of time, but they had a booth at the Pittsburgh marathon booth so figured I'd try. Nope- died at mile 22 for the hardest last miles of the marathon. Sound is great but don't buy if you are a long distance runner. Or a long distance traveler. Mine are dead yet again from a cross country flight.

I had a pair before this and loved them so much. After 2 or so years… I broke them accidentally. Heartbroken, I ordered the latest and greatest. I use these a lot in my car while on commute. Sadly, I can't hear my podcasts nearly as well as my old set. I've resorted to putting the earpiece directly in my ear (one ear at a time). I realize that using some earplugs might help…. That's the next step. They are really nice, don't get me wrong. I was just spoiled by my old pair.

I really enjoy my open run pro, they let me stay in tune with my surroundings while jamming out (often on the bike). You sacrifice a little sound quality but they are still top notch for open ear style headphones. My biggest issue is battery life, I'm not sure how they calculate battery life, but I have never gotten more than 4 hours of play time at full volume. I still recommend them and I'm on my second pair but wish that they had more battery life for my longer rides..

I've been using the OpenRun Pros for about a month and the way I workout and plan my exercises have changed drastically. The battery life and Touch controls make having the OpenRun Pros fun to use as well as wear. The band that goes around the neck worried me at first but the earbuds are so lightweight and comfortable that I can barely tell they're there most of the time. The bone conduction that these offer is a step above other brands and the highs and lows sound so much better in terms of full sound and a pleasurable experience while commuting to and from work or going for a run outside. Overall, would definitely recommend!

I was skeptical of these - I am so excited I decided to try them. Typical earbuds tend to hurt my ears after an hour (even with the smaller tips) so and the Shockz are so comfortable that I forget I am wearing them. The sound and call quality is amazing - 10/10. Being able to wear these at work and still hear people knock on my door and alerts/calls on my computer - while listing to my music or podcasts is awesome - same for the gym. I was so skeptical and thought that everyone around me at the office or gym would be able to hear what was playing - NOPE. These are one of the best things I have bought for myself.

The OpenRun Pro has the best battery and the worst connectivity out of all the Shokz headphones I have owned over the years. It shows connected on the phone but it keeps playing via the phone audio. have reset the headset 2-3 times and still not working properly. just got the headset on 5/18/2024. had to send it back via warranty .. Looks like I might have gotten a lemon. Also the volume keeps fluctuating on them which something I have never had with regular Open Run..
