The incoming sound is clear

The incoming sound is clear and the volume is easy to control. I’ve been told the outgoing sound is very loud, clear but loud, so I’m learning to modulate my voice. I listen to music almost all day long and actually forget I have them on! I only wanted to try the bone conduction ear phones just to see how they would sound….I love them. I use them for music as well as phone calls and the sound is clear for both. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Do yourself a favor. Pick a color and add to cart

Love these things. Much richer sound than my previous pair, the open run. I have really liked those as well, gave them to my son and he LOVES them. Being able to hear your surroundings as well as whatever music, podcast it whatever you're listening to is a pretty great thing.

Great for mtb!

Love mine! Perfect for biking. Just ordered an another pair of Run Pro for my wife. A real game changer not having to plug my ears. More comfortable than traditional ear buds. Love the fact I can be aware of my surroundings while listening to music or talking on the phone. Highly recommend!!

Just a little quieter than Aeropex

In general, the OpenRun Pro’s are comfortable, have great battery life and VERY good sound quality. I upgraded from Aeropex’s to these. The only criticism I have is that, compared to the Aeropex’s, the max volume of the OpenRun’s is noticably less. In many environments (gym, driving, etc), the OpenRun’s are hard to hear while the Aeropex’s can be heard easily. Other than that, the OpenRun’s are a good upgrade.

Not Impressed

Similar to another review I read before purchase, in louder environments you need the volume cranked up all the way but the Shokz will badly distort and force you to lower the volume to a level so they wont distort deeming them useless. They work great in quiet environments but for snowboarding, driving and crowds forget about it.

Perfect for cycling

Open air ear buds are pretty darn good! The sound is decent (but I’m an audiophile so pretty picky) plenty good for listening while active. The controls are surprisingly good, I expected the small volume buttons to be fiddly but they aren’t. I am pretty happy. I docked one star for the proprietary charge cord, I hate having another cord to keep track of even though I recognize that keeping the device as small as possible is the reason for it. I’d have traded the 2mm larger case on one side for a std charge plug.

Different but good

Coming from wireless earbuds with a charging case has been an adjustment, the only downside to these is having to manually turn off, and not being able to charge in the case. And they can be sometimes too quiet when running in a loud area for a while.

try it, I did and I love them

Very light, comfortable, not a hinderance for glasses at all, stay on tight, the bass is there with good volume, if you really want to hear the bass plug your years while listening it will overwhelm you. I didn’t believe they were worth it/actually bone conducting until I tried this. When you plug your ears and hear it more.. wow. Talk about surround sound too, like a personal life soundtrack. Great sound quality overall, definitely worth the cost and nice to be able to hear your surroundings/people (at a medium-quieter volume, and pause at a moments notice without having to take anything out of your ear. Very fast charge, very good battery life, easy to connect and control. Try it, free returns for 40 days or whatever!

Missed the Mark

Much better battery life than the titanium, but sound quality suffered. Sound is muddy and quiet. I have to take calls at max volume just so I can hear what the person is saying. Also not a fan of creating a proprietary charging system, it was better with a micro usb that could easily be replaced if lost or damaged.

Christmas Present, I will reciew after it is opened Dec 25th

Hi Shokz, I know you are anxious to have me review my new headphones. I asked my husband to buy them for me for Christmas. I ordered them, he paid for them, I wrapped them and put them under the tree. So, I won't be able to review them until after Dec 25th.
