I'll keep it simple. If

I'll keep it simple. If your on the fence about buying this product well just do it. My first pair broke after a few years of everyday use. I couldn't believe it lasted as long as it did. I used them every dam day. I love these headphones and when it broke I couldn't get my second pair fast enough. I even considered buying a spare one just incase. This is a must have.

Best choice so far

These are my 3rd pair of Shokz, the opencomm were great everyone could hear me wherever I was, the OpenRun is what I went to after those which I loved and still have but the day these came out I put my order in and have not regretted it one bit! The shipping was fast the audio is second to none period!

Painfully Hair Catching

I've had these for several months at this point, and struggle with getting them off my head sometimes because they become tangled in my hair. If you have hair that is too short for a pony tail, but just long enough to be near your ears, beware! I regularly wear my hair in a pony tail just to be able to take these on and off without snagging my hair on the little seam between the bone conduction ear pieces and the little loop that goes above your ear. These are sadly weak, and have only gotten weaker as time had passed. They're still the best bone conduction ones I've found so far.

Got the minis, and still

Got the minis, and still have space- but great fit and comfortable! Bought these per multiple friends recommendations as a newbie to running, so far so good. Easy to hear traffic and other pedestrians while running outside, also conveniently easy to listen to an audiobook and still hear my kids!

Not for me, but I can see why they suit others

I'm a long distance runner and I enjoy listening to podcasts as I run, recently my old headphones died so I was advised to go for a pair of Shokz. In the shop they sounded great, nice and clear and really comfortable. But unfortunately when I took to the roads it was a different story. I couldn't hear anything over traffic going by, and I mean nothing. When I got off the roads and onto the trails it didn't get much better sadly. The breeze (not wind) also reduced the audio quality massively. So I'm afraid I had to return my pair and go for an alternative brand. I can see how these headphones would work in calmer conditions, but they are just not good for the windswept Wicklow hills in Ireland. Maybe as the technology develops they will improve but for me for now it's a strong pass for now.

Hearing and Blue Tooth

Works very well can hear on the phone, but many times the caller can not hear me. The voice amplifier does well in quite setting watching TV or just one one communicating, but in an area with a lot of back ground noise it picked up to much of it. I still like it. one more thing is it hurts my ears when wearing for a time.

Pain will sneak up on you!

If your ears are sensitive, as mine are, be very careful. Although the ear-phones feel flexible enough they still squeeze the front part of the ear enough to where your jaw will start to hurt. In my case, I can only wear them for 20 minutes at a time. Sound is good, but they are painful.

Useful for those with middle ear hearing loss

I have conductive (middle ear) hearing loss, so my ENT suggested I get a pair of conductive headphones, since they essentially skip over the middle ear and the vibrations are sensed by the inner ear. I can also use these headphones while wearing my hearing aid. I give the headphones a 4 because they could be a bit tighter in order to have more bone contact and transmit the vibrations better. Some pros are that they connect really easily and quickly, are user friendly, and I’m not worried about wearing them outside in the rain.

Open Run Pro

These headphones are very comfortable, when I flew to Europe and 8 hours of flight they were always on, as I like to watch movies during the flight. I did not get any discomfort. And my walk around Europe was very comfortable, you can listen to tracks and everyone in the area is not afraid that you can be hit by a car or someone else.

Sound was great! But glasses no

I actually quite enjoyed these headphones and I loved the idea of them! I have bad ears (chronic ear infections and therefore irritability with traditional headphones). These freaking crushed it though! It is so fun because nobody can hear them besides you unless maybe they’re really close to you (I.e. hugging). My only issue is that I like to use headphones while studying which means I needed my glasses on. That ended up being annoying as I felt I was stretching the frame of my glasses out so ultimately I returned them. If I ever go to contacts though I would purchase again!
