Roku offers streaming, many great apps and free TV (e.g. Roku TV). Easy to setup and use. (Portable as well). Good price considering the number of excellent streaming apps that are available for use. Also, great, helpful and friendly customer service if needed! Great Product!

I've had a roku for years. Awesome streaming device. Great features easy to navigate. Now why I got rid of all of them. I removed all of 5 roku ultras. Why? Ads on home screen. I like a clean seamless home screen with no ads. Apparently roku does not give customers the option to remove annoying ads on the home screen. I got rid of cable because of ads. Now ads are everywhere with no free option to remove them. I no longer use any streaming device. I will not recycle my old rokus. My 10 lb sledge hammer will take care of that. Roku, if you want me back. Remove all the ad banners on your devices. Otherwise I'm going with a firestick. And buying my family amazon fire sticks for their tvs as well. As they do not push ads down my throat.

I had my old roku for about 10 years, and it was lagging a bit, would randomly shut off and had trouble connecting to newer devices. I purchased this new one and every one of those problems were solved. Reasonable price, and it was incredibly easy to set up and retain all my old info and apps! We love roku here at our home!

Set up was easy. I like that it has all of the streaming services in one device. I love the voice control. Turning the tv on and off is handy but I really love turning off closed captioning with voice. Using the remote is a lot of clicks and it is in different places for every service. Voice control just does it

We have a smart TV that wasn’t being smart and we lost all of streaming apps. I was told about the ROKU and it saved me from buying a new TV! It was changed our TV time. We gained amazing app and great live TV. ROKU ULTRA is affordable and works so amazingly!

Our previous Roku Ultra had started to have sound issues, so we decided to replace it. As it is our main television, we sprung for another Ultra. We frequently watch YouTube, either my partner, myself, or both together. The new "feature" that the Ultra 2024 offers that allows apps to start wherever it was when you hit the Home button to exit is beyond annoying. The solution offered by the Roku Community is to hit the Back button until you get the Exit dialog, then hit OK, which is no solution at all. What is the point of the Home button if not to efficiently exit an app to the Home screen. Additionally, the remote that came with the Ultra 2024 will not work for voice control, though when the Hands Free button is turned on, it picks up what it thinks are requests, so the microphone works. Then there is having to reboot every other time we try to open the Acorn app. Overall, very disappointing.

I have yet to watch a live program where it works from start to finish. Stalls, hiccups or simply quits. Upgraded everything possible, to no avail and customer service? I got tired of the phone calls and went in to the service shop and waited in line with the others, many with the exact same issue. I will stop now as my point has been made.

The backlit remote is extremely handy for us. Our previous Roku Ultra LT died. It has served us long and well, so we got this new one (Roku Ultra 2024 model) and really like the remote features compared to the older one. We have it hard wired into our Ethernet network and it has been working well for the past month or so that we've had it.

The hardware is awesome. It is the best streamer and the remote is great. Backlit and no batteries is great. My only complaint is the freaking commercials all over the interface. Get that crap of my screen! I have learned to ignore all the junk and go straight to my apps. Like I said, almost the greatest.

We love Roku, but on occasion it does do weird, like it will be moving along just find but then suddenly it will skip backwards about 15 seconds than continue. Problem is, there is no way for me to tell if it's Roku or the service channel we're watching, so I gave Roku 5 stars. Picture quality is very good, but Roku needs to stop with Roku advertisements, I already have Roku I don't need to see ads about it.
