I’ve been really impressed with Roku overall. It’s a great value for the money, especially compared to some of the more expensive streaming devices out there. Setup was quick and easy, and the interface is simple enough that anyone in the house can use it without a learning curve. One of my favorite features is the amount of free content available. The Roku Channel offers a ton of free TV shows, movies, and even live channels, which is a huge bonus if you’re trying to keep costs down. On top of that, you still have access to all the major streaming apps, so everything is in one place. The performance has been reliable, with smooth streaming and very few issues. I also like how customizable the home screen is, letting you organize your apps exactly how you want. Overall, Roku delivers a really solid streaming experience at an affordable price. If you’re looking for something easy to use with a lot of content options—especially free ones—it’s definitely worth it.

With my new Roku Ultra, my TV turns on in SECONDS !! I don't have to wait and wait while things load and load,.....(: When I got it for Christmas 2025, I charged it for probably 5 min and I have never had to charge it since, even by today Jan 31, 2026. Great product ! I've always bought ROKUs and I always recommend them.

This is the second Roku Ultra that I have purchased. I like how rapidly it responds to commands. I like how I can you my voice to control the TV. I do not like that a couple of the apps do not respond to commands these two players and they did respond to the Roku Stick. I also would like to be able to reprogram the several app buttons on the remote to open apps I do use.

My smart tv is slow to change channels and menues. Sometimes having to hit a button a 2nd time thinking the first time didn't work. That would result in a selection I didn't want which made me have to start over again. Very frustrating! The Roku Ultra is super fast now. I love it. I also love the backlit buttons on the remote.

I replaced my 4k Express with the ultra since the former had so many WiFi dropouts and “no internet connection” messages (despite having good 300mb connectivity). I am now using the Ultra’s Ethernet port with CAT6 cable to my router which eliminated all the “buffering”. Working fine now.

Our old Roku just stopped working one day (don’t know what Roku series it was). Upgraded to the Ultra and we are very happy with it. The remote buttons light up when you pick it up, so very easy to use while watching tv at night with the lights out. Volume control on the side of the remote is so much better. With the old Roku we had to control the volume from the tv remote, which was very inconvenient. It was very easy to synch the new remote and worked perfectly from day one. Very happy with this upgrade.

I bought this to replace a Roku stick that I thought was going bad. Turns out it wasn’t stick but I still haven’t figured out issue so still trying to track that down . I previously bought an ultra since my Samsung smart TV kept buffering even though it was up to date. Liked the no batteries to replace which was a major factor but I prefer Roku over Fire stick so no brainer there.

I bought the Roku ultra thinking I won't have many problems but the reality is this roku device has a bad time staying connected to the network, I know it's not my network because we just switched to a better network company and the roku still can not stay connected where I have to network restart in the settings and then sometimes for there it won't load any of the networks I hope they find a fit for this because this is super annoying to deal with

The cost of our Roku Ultra was a little less than what we paid for 2 months streaming. The selection of channels are twice of what we were streaming. The unit was easy to set up even for a senior with little knowledge of electronics. The product is performing as advertised which is unusual. Highly recommended.

We purchased the Roku Ultra as an alternative to using the default apps on our TV. We encountered delays when trying to change channels or switch apps. The load times were frustrating but the Roku Ultra has been a game changer with quick loads and fast response times. If you’re using the default TV apps and experiencing delayed response times, Roku Ultra is for you. We definitely recommend.
