My 4 yr old Roku was constantly losing internet and frequently buffering. This Ultra hasn't once lost internet and I've had no buffering since i started using it two weeks ago. The hands free voice activated remote takes me where I want to go. The picture on my smart tv is even a bit better.

My Samsung tv was so slow to get to the content I wanted to watch. With the Roku, I am able to get to my shows faster. I’m also able to search and browse for new shows much easier than with the built in tv interface. This has made a world of difference in my viewing.

I have 7 Roku sticks and have helped others get them. I still prefer them due to fewer wires where the TV is hanging on the wall and I use one when traveling. But what an improvement for the living room! It responds faster, but I don't know how to prove or measure that. Big deals for me are the lighted and rechargeable remote control, the impressive way that it connects to my wireless headphones, and the remote control finding feature. I'm truly impressed.

I received the Roku Ultra as a gift. I had one previously from 2017 that was moved to another room so I was familiar with how Roku works. I love that I can stream multiple apps using this one device and not have to worry about updates. Years ago I thought having a smart TV would be great to watch the MLB app. After a few years, the app was no longer compatible with the TV. Same thing happened with the Blu-ray player. The old Roku still works, and the new one works great! I appreciate not having to constantly update apps. Its done automatically so you can stream right away. There are a plethora of apps available. It's great to be able to search on an actor or a title of a movie and be able to find what apps they are on. I love not having to replace batteries in the new remote. That's a definite plus.

I get way more free channels than I expected. I get quality picture and television programs. the product is mine, I own it. I am not renting any device or paying a cable bill, I only pay for extra streaming services that I choose at reasonable prices. I love the options. I plan on purchasing another in a few weeks when I get paid.

I've had a roku for years. Awesome streaming device. Great features easy to navigate. Now why I got rid of all of them. I removed all of 5 roku ultras. Why? Ads on home screen. I like a clean seamless home screen with no ads. Apparently roku does not give customers the option to remove annoying ads on the home screen. I got rid of cable because of ads. Now ads are everywhere with no free option to remove them. I no longer use any streaming device. I will not recycle my old rokus. My 10 lb sledge hammer will take care of that. Roku, if you want me back. Remove all the ad banners on your devices. Otherwise I'm going with a firestick. And buying my family amazon fire sticks for their tvs as well. As they do not push ads down my throat.

I've had the Ultra Roku player for over a year and cannot get they're Multi View feature working, no option when selecting channels. According to Roku website I have proper firmware and software updates, as well as proper HD TV. Never has worked., despite having all Roku website requirements.

We love Roku, but on occasion it does do weird, like it will be moving along just find but then suddenly it will skip backwards about 15 seconds than continue. Problem is, there is no way for me to tell if it's Roku or the service channel we're watching, so I gave Roku 5 stars. Picture quality is very good, but Roku needs to stop with Roku advertisements, I already have Roku I don't need to see ads about it.

This purchase was my 3rd Roku Ultra so obviously I like it. Especially since the remote now has additional features since as volume control. My original one does not. The remote nearly eliminates the TV’s original remote and I enjoy that feature as well.

I decided to update my Roku device, so I ordered the Ultra on the Roku website. It was very easy to connect to my TV and audio receiver. The remote is a significant upgrade with nicely lighted buttons and a rechargeable battery. I was replacing batteries in my universal remote about once a month, so this is a very nice feature. I was able to set up the device very easily to control both my tv and audio receiver. Overall, I am extremely happy with the Roku Ultra and it is a definite step up.
