Roku Great for Steaming

I now have 6 Roku and last two have rechargeable remotes which is nice improved feature....no lag in streaming Movie Apps or My Spectrum TV App. I do keep one main TV hooked up to DVR Cable TV box in case internet goes down which I suggest to anyone friends or family that ask.

Roku Ultra

Had Roku players.my entire life. This nee technology the ultra is packed with has made streaming a breeze. I always thought my internet was just not great but it was just a matter of purchasing an up to date Roku player that can keep up with the current speeds of the technology. No buffer issues ever and so smooth. I need to replace all my other players too!!

Roku ultra is awesome except for the remote

The Roku Ultra is awesome. It has Dolby Vision which works very well with my LG OLED TV. The picture quality is very nice. The only drawback is the rechargeable remote. The battery life is not great. You have to recharge it about every week. The old remotes with batteries last months and doesn't have to be replaced often.

Awesome for my set up. Roku Ultra center of house HDMI to amplified HDMI splitter & then split to Livingroom tv, kitchen tv, master bedroom tv, and master bathroom tv. The Bluetooth remote is amazing. Can control from any room I'm watching. Audio is also synched to all TVs. Works like cable without the cost. Couldn't have this set up without the Bluetooth remote

Nice!

I haven't had this Roku device very long but so far I like it very much. I've been using Roku devices for about fifteen yrs and so far, I like this model the best. I especially like the new remote and that it lights up! Makes using it very convenient.

Surprising Value

I've been really impressed with Roku overall. It's a great value for the money, especially compared to some of the more expensive streaming devices out there. Setup was quick and easy, and the interface is simple enough that anyone in the house can use it without a learning curve. One of my favorite features is the amount of free content available. The Roku Channel offers a ton of free TV shows, movies, and even live channels, which is a huge bonus if you're trying to keep costs down. On top of that, you still have access to all the major streaming apps, so everything is in one place. The performance has been reliable, with smooth streaming and very few issues. I also like how customizable the home screen is, letting you organize your apps exactly how you want. Overall, Roku delivers a really solid streaming experience at an affordable price. If you're looking for something easy to use with a lot of content options—especially free ones—it's definitely worth it.

DOORBELL DOES NOT RECORD!!!

have spent several weeks on the phone and chatting with them to fix my door belll that i order from them online. it does not record the events even when u press the door bell when u try to watch it, it only shows the still images. they have made me several times send them proof that its not working like me being on the phone isnt enough proof or the fact that i have sent so much stuff to them proving that its not working just to hear we will send this to the tech support ill then get an email saying its fixed, and it has not! its been almost 5 weeks of this. I should have stayed with ring!!!

Beware! Stopped connecting in 3 months.

We had this device for less than 3 months when it stopped connecting to the internet. I spent 3 hours chatting with “tech support” sending me through the same sequence of restarts and resets that I had already done. I have two other Rokus that work perfectly and in the exact same location on the same TV. But Roku refuses to honor their warranty. They want me to reach out to my ISP and do a factory reset on my modem and router which no other device (including multiple Rokus) have any issue maintaining a connection with. I have had good luck with Roku in the past but this device was a complete dud and Roku refuse to stand behind it. They want to waste your time going in circles until you give up. I would not buy another Roku after this experience.

Love, love, love

I wanted to get away from another streaming service, after all my research, I discovered RUKO. Now I feel like I'm in control. Multiple free stations and streaming apps, more options than I'll ever probably need. User friendly platform, I cannot recommend this enough. Saved money with more entertainment.

My son gave me ROKU Ultra for Christmas😊. I moved my old one to my bedroom. I love the fact of I can charge my remote and it last a long time. Unfortunately, the voice command doesn't always work when you request to pause or resume movie. At times, while watching a movie, I get a pop up message: "Listening" when I didn't say anything? Overall, I love it!
