It came with an easy to understand and follow instructions. The wheels and legs were easy to install. Purchased for emergency power during hurricane season. I liked it because it is lighter from most of the generators I compared. The price is competitive from other generator seller. I'm happy with the purchase.

Just completed first test of powering my mother's home and all is well. Pretty much powered every thing in the home except Stove, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher etc. Ran for an hour and everything connected to the Westinghouse generator ran normally. After receiving the generator, I installed the wheels and front legs (pads) (very easy to install by the way). I noticed that the wheels (no flat) had bearing installed instead of bushings, a very nice touch and a good sign this is a quality machine. Added the supplied oil and pulled the pull cord several times to "Prime" the oil pump before starting. Added gas and started the generator still using the pull starter and fired up on the second pull. Ran it for one hour for the break-in. No issues what's so ever. Connecting the supplied battery was an easy task also. Pressing the Start button on the side provides an instant start and even the choke works automatically. I also tested the remote start and it worked like it should but I don't see me using it. This generator is replacing an 12 year old Onan generator with +600 hours so it has a big challenge ahead of it.

Yeah, we have had this thing for three or four years, and there are a few things i would like to say. First of all, this thing is a tank. It's heavy, even with the wheels and handle. We had to use a ramp to get it over a 2inch lip to get it where it is. We have a cabin the the UP(Michigan) that is not connected to the grid power, so we use this. Another thing, its loud. The loudness of this thing is to be expected since it says nothing about being quiet, so no stars off for the decible level. Our biggest issue with this thing is the electric start. It's stopped working last year, and we tried everything to get it to work. The machine only has a total of 600 hours on it, and its already broke… It's stored in a shed with two high speed fans to help with ventilation(they are powered by a battery that is charged by the generator). So with nothing plugged into the machine, and no CO2 in the shed, it should start, but does not. Just a heads up, if you have this issue, try fixing it right away, I injured my shoulder 3 times already pull starting this, and im 18…

Looks like a brute. Tired of being in the dark with spoiled food every hurricane season. Got the genset out of the box, read the instructions, gassed & oiled it & it fired right up. Loaded a few lights on & everything worked fine. Now we'll probably never have a hurricane again.

I just purchased this generator and have not had to use it yet. I did quite a bit of research before deciding to buy this brand. Assembly was very easy and the quality seems to be really good. Time will tell if I made the right choice, but I am confident that I did.

Our generator was delivered on time, set up was simple, only 4 bolts for the feet and 2 quick pins for the wheels, the handle was already mounted and ready. The machine wheels around with ease even for a smaller guy like myself. I added the supplied oil, put some gas in, connected the battery wires and started the easy to read and understand instructions. The generator fired right up, I tried all 3 methods, pull start, push button electric and the remote and all worked well. I let it run for about 15 minutes, then put a load on it for another 10 minutes or more, everything worked well. The fuel level indicator is easy to read, and the machine is just overall a great machine for the price. Very happy with it, and would easily recommend it to a friend or family member. We choose the WGen7500 so when we loose power in New England during the coldest months, we can easily run our well pump, boiler system, all our lights and must haves without pushing it too hard... This powers all our needs no problem.

I just received my Westinghouse WGen7500DF and it already leaps and bounds ahead of any generator I've used in the past. The dual fuel was the biggest reason that I bought this unit and it DOES NOT DISSAPPOINT! The generator started immediately and really runs smoothly. The instructions to use the different fuels are easy to understand and it has the power as advertised. I would purchase this again!

Delivered right to my door in Milton FL. Comes with a plug-in cord to charge the battery, when the generator has not been used in a long time. Actually, anxiously awaiting a power-outage! Assembled in minutes! A beautiful looking unit as well. Would definitely it to a friend and love my new generator.

great product at a great price, this generator gave us hope well our electricity was out. it powered our heat and refrigerator well our power was out. has more than enough power to run the main things you use everyday. it starts up very easy and even has a remote start fob. thank you westinghouse for making a great product at a great price that is reliable.

Bought this to replace a smaller generator I had been using with power cords, was looking for something to power the whole house in case of a power outage of which we have had several over the past few years - many lasting over three days! This fit the bill, easy to start and plenty of power - I cannot say enough about this generator. Starts every time and good clean power output.
