I put the Pennington Bermudagrass seeds in the seed starter container due not an ideal season to start seeding outside. I noticed the seed started to germinate by day 4. I used to try growing Bermuda seeds directly but never been successful. I'm planning to use this grass for plugs and hopefully will fill in the bare spot area quickly. This Bermudagrass variety is ideal for southern lawns that receive full sun for eight or more hours each day. It offers exceptional heat, drought, and traffic tolerance, making it a great choice for your lawn.

I've had a part of my lawn that for some reason just tends to thin out. I water and fertilize regularly, it gets thick and then tends to thin out again. I've used these seeds in that area of my lawn and it has thickened back up again and looks very nice. Only time will tell if it stays that way, but judging from the appearances, i may have found the "magic fix". The grass has returned to it's smooth, green lush look.

My first impression was how clearly the instructions were laid out on the package. It was really easy to follow in regard to prepping my yard, planting the seed and watering! It didn't take me more than half an hour to get this spread out on the bare section of our yard. I have been watering it as instructed on the packet and I think I am starting to see coverage grow in the yard. I'm excited to have a nicer looking yard and a product so easy to use. I would definitely buy more of this.

I've tried a few other brands of grass that didn't grow very well so I'm hoping that this one will produce good results! The 5lb bag is more than enough to cover all the spots in my yard. It's too early to tell how the grass will grow but I will update my review in a few weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item came well packaged and had clear instructions. I had some areas where grass died last year and I was wanting to seed those areas. I prepped the areas as recommended and applied as recommended. I watered twice daily and felt like it was kept moist enough. Some seeds sprouted but they then died. Other areas had no seed sprout. After having issues with the seed I feel that it probably wasn't kept moist enough. I have used their seed in the past and not had a problem.
