I previously owned a pillow top mattress by serta, but it was too soft for my liking and after a few years of sleeping on it my back would hurt every morning. This mattress is firmer so it hasnt been an issue at all. I love the fact that it has cooling gel pad in it. I get too hot when I sleep and with this you can actually feel it cooling your body. It is very thick too so it feels like it sits up higher for ease getting into bed. It comes with a nice mattress cover that has ripples in it that makes it nice to lay on and it's super soft that you dont really need to use sheets. I definitely recommend this mattress. I will most likely be purchasing another for my son.

I would toss and turn, trying to get comfortable, just for my husband to move and throw me off balance. With this mattress, he can move all he wants and it doesn't bother me at all! Not only that, I fall asleep in minutes instead of hours! It feels so good to wake up and feel like I actually slept. No more back pain, no more tossing and turning, and no more laying awake. I simply can't say enough good things about this mattress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One should be forewarned that the mattress is very heavy, but once you have maneuvered this into position, cut the plastic (carefully), and allowed it to inflate, the result is one very good mattress. It takes several hours to inflate and rise into a supportive mattress - if you lie on it too soon, it is as soft as a puffy cloud, and has too much give. Once it has inflated, however, you would never know this mattress had been rolled into a curve in a box. You do not sink very much into this mattress (and I am tall, just over six feet), and it is very supportive. It is not hard, exactly, but it cradles your back, shoulders, and joints firmly. I suspect this mattress has been designed for a back sleeper, but I am well supported and am rarely sore on my stomach or on my side. It has a bit of a chemical smell initially, which did not give me a migraine, I am surprised about that. The smell dissipated after about a week or so with no ill effects. The mattress is well put together and has a pretty, soft cover. I immediately covered it with a high quality waterproof bamboo mattress cover to protect it. I have raging insomnia, and while this has not resolved it, the mattress has certainly improved it. I have far less joint and back pain using this mattress, and I sleep for a few more precious hours each day as a result. If you are looking for a high quality, supportive mattress that is neither too hot nor too stiff and uncomfortable and has a reasonable price, Serta's SleepToGo mattress is certainly one to consider.

I'm torn about this mattress and I really want to love it. The firm mattress is perfect for my back and hip that have medical issues. It did take a few nights sleep to adjust to the new firm level which does not have much give when you first climb in. But after a few nights sleep I adjusted. After a few weeks I learned to love this mattress feel. Unfortunately I still have some concerns. Within the first 48 hours the mattress had only inflated about 1/2 way with some type of deep folded indentations at the corners. I was concerned that it was a dud. After a few more days it kept inflating. My concern is it has now been over a month and the mattress is only measuring between 12-13' in height. I specifically paid extra to have a 14" mattress and am wondering if I should've gone with the less expensive mattress since that's the height I've appeared to have received.

Unboxing was easy, and mattress assumed the proper shape within seconds. I thought at first it would be too firm, but there is a gentle give to the mattress, that conforms itself to your body. It's got perfect mix between enough support and softness to make a good night sleep a reality.

Maybe because I've never had a memory foam mattress, but when you get to the edge of the mattress, theres no support. The edge just kinda gives way and you can fall off the side. Gave my husband a few laughs, but that's the only downfall I see. I have fibromyalgia and its sometimes hard to get out of bed. So to have some extra support to push my way up would be nice. I would suggest this to a friend though. Once on the mattress I was comfortable and drifting off to sleep. There were no springs I could feel, no movement from my husband getting in and out of the bed. So overall besides the edge of the bed, which I'm sure is common of memory foam or gel mattresses, I like this mattress.

I struggled a little to get this upstairs on my own but the struggle was definitely worth it! Once I got the mattress out of its packaging, I allowed for it to fully expand in a time frame of 48 hours before laying on it. After sleeping on this mattress for several nights, I am confident in saying this is probably one of the most comfortable mattresses that I have ever slept on. The gel memory foam gives this slight, soft hug to your body and adjusts to your movements while sleeping. It's like sleeping on a pillow or rather, it's like sleeping on a new level of comfort. I absolutely adore this Serta Sleep2Go mattress!!

I brought this without knowing if I would like it. After setting it up and being able to sleep on it. Very comfortable and not bouncy when you move. A little pricy but I hope it will last long. I love the height and used my existing box spring for foundation.

First, when it's delivered it is vacuum sealed in a box - which is a first for me. I have never seen anything like it. Setting it up was extremely easy. The plastic packaging was easy to unravel and the mattress set itself up quickly, I figured it would have to rise for awhile - I was wrong - only took 1-2 minutes top and it was ready to go. The mattress is thicker than a normal mattress - we bought a platform frame for it so we wouldn't need a box spring for it. The bed design is amazing, it looks really nice. Now on to the most important part.. how it feels to lay on it. The bed is firm, but you sink in nicely. It conforms to your body. If you have any sort of back issues or anything of the sort this mattress would be amazing for you. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. It's so comfortable and the sleep I get on the bed is wonderful. No more waking up with a back ache or any other pains. I am so pleased with this mattress and how great it is sleeping on it. I highly recommend.

If I didn't know better I would have sworn that there were coils in it! I also was worried that that because it was memory foam that I'd sink all the way down into it. Especially because I'm on the heavier side, weighing almost 180 pounds. But, I worried for nothing. It cradled me nicely withough causing me to sink in. It's much firmer than I thought it would be, but still oh so comfortable. I was able to lay on my side the entire night. Woke up with no hip or shoulder pain at all! I've been raving about it to anyone willing to listen since I received it. It coming rolled up in a box, and getting delivered was awesome. Heavy but much easier to get up the stairs than an open traditional mattress. Once it was cut out of the plastic, it popped open and went to it's full 24 inches immediately. So I was able to sleep on it right away. No weird chemical smell like other ones I have seen. Serta definitely did a great job with this one! Top quality that doesn't disappoint!
