Just got this one and it seems to work very well. Had the more expensive one with different heat settings for a couple of years, but it started to leak in the level window. So I didn’t buy the same one.

Not the fanciest of tea kettle, but it works and is taller than wider taking up less counter space in smaller kitchens. It is a little loud when heating up, but it gets hot fast. Easy to clean.

Love this kettle. Wish I would have gotten the one with different temps as I was gifted a tea that needs only 165 degree water. But if not for that, this is perfect.

Outer surface gets extremely hot - DO NOT use where children can get close to it. The gasket around the lid is misshaped enough that the lid doesn't close evenly all around. Lid could open more to make filling easier.

I bought this electric kettle a month ago to replace another brand kettle that stopped working. I love the power of this product - the water heats so much faster in the Cuisinart. The kettle is classy looking - makes a nice addition to my kitchen.

this expensive, stupid tea kettle doesn't even have a "keep warm" feature. I wish I had known this before I bought it. Still, the portable feature gives it a two stars instead of one. I wasted my money--don't waste yours!

My husband got this for me for Christmas. I think he bought it more for himself. Either way, we are both enjoying the easiness of having hot water at our fingertips without the hazard of forgetting to take the teapot off the oven.

My wife is not a digital person and will often refuse to use digital appliances, but she loves this tea kettle for heating water for her French press coffee every morning. Happy wife, happy life.

We purchased this model to replace a heavily used broken one that had more features. It is adequate, but we do miss the "keep hot" feature. We're also a little concerned that the on-off lever at the bottom might be the first thing to break.
