I have found that this electric tea kettle does exactly what I bought it for: it heats water quickly. I also like the sleek appearance of the kettle. I trust the Quisinart name, and it's proven once again in this efficient and attractive appliance.

This kettle knows just to do. It's shows the fill amount, it starts to heat quickly and it shuts off when it's done. I'm so glad I bought it. Thanks, Cuisinart.

The usual Cuisinart quality we've enjoyed in our kitchen. Looks great, works great, nothing complicated about it, as we preferred. Heats the water quickly. Easy to fill. We're very pleased!

We replaced it with a stainless steel Cuisinart tea kettle that was rated higher. I liked the looks of the glass one, but I think this one actually heats water faster, so I'm completely happy with it. Let's hope it lasts longer than the last one as well.

I was thrilled to find this reasonably priced well made item. It has weight!!! All the others I looked at must have been aluminum -- they were flimsy and cheap.

replaced a Chef's Choice kettle that started leaking. This kettle feels much more solid than our old one. the viewing window is much easier to see and it heats about twice as fast. overall very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tea kettle. It is nicely constructed and easy to use. It does not take long for the water to reach its boiling point. The kettle doesn’t remain on to keep the water warm until used. It turns off immediately. This could be a positive or a negative. I wish I could adjust it to remain on for a limited time; then, shut off. I would also love for a sieve to be included to steep your tea in the water, instead of placing your tea bags directly in the kettle. It does have a small strainer that attaches to the spout to prevent unwanted tea grains from entering your cup.
