My husband and I have put together a TON of IKEA furniture in our days, so when the booklet said it'd take 30min to put together, we thought it would. Long story short, it did not. Some of the plastic had excess from the molds that we had to take a box cutter to. Holes poorly lined up and we really had to fight some areas. It was a HUGE pain. It looks good now that its together, but it was terrible to build. It doesn't hold as much as we were hoping but it does look really nice now that it's together. Just wish it had better instructions.

I needed something for storage of grill, smoker items. Liked how this looked and price was right. However, in assembling it, Keter did not finish some of the parts so they fit together (notches, slots). Wrote to Keter. No response. We made it work but was a struggle.

I recently two of these and was surprised at the quality. I was hesitant about ordering them because of the low price,but I really liked the way they looked in picture. They are better than I expected and I was impressed with the size of the storage compartment. I didn't have any problems putting them together, I took all of the parts out of the box and the bags and placed the small parts on a table which made it easy to identify each part. It only took me about one hour and thirty minutes to put two of them together. ( just take your time ) I definitely would recommend them.

Spent 2.5 hours wrestling with this bench. Parts are warped beyond proper use and too many cast holes half full of plastic to count. POOR documentation for putting together, even on their website! Called to complain on 800 number and all they had to say was "take it back where you got it" Also bought a 160 gallon deck box at the same time and it was GREAT to put together

I love this bench but it's major flaws were that 1) it was missing 3 screws and we had to go to Home Depot to get them. 2) you have to pay attention to a fine detail that Woodman99 stated in his reviews. The direction that the steel rails face is KEY to assembling it correctly. One rail faces one direction and the other rail faces the opposite direction. other than those major flaws, I love my bench and when assembled correctly, it keeps the rain out and looks great on my 10 x 10 tiny deck patio. really enlarges the tiny space!

Yesterday I put this bench together with my wife assistance at times to hold things while I screwed it together. The instructions were simple and easy to understand if you followed the steps shown. I had no left over screws as it worked out perfectly. I noticed some comments about leakage of the storage compartment. I plan to take one of my old tarps that you can get, and cut it to the size of the bench compartment, and keep it in their to cover the tools I store in it. I hope this is helpful for others who are thinking of buying this nice storage bench.

Flimsy plastic with lots of "snaps" that don't want to align and plastic pieces that would have required cutting to fit. And in trying to get the snaps in place, pounding is not advised, you can crack the plastic. I don't modify something I just paid $100 for. Has steel components that are sure to rust with age. We returned ours for a refund at Sam's. JUNK!

I purchased two of these units when they were on sale and both of them had cracked arm covers. Sent a letter in after a couple of calls (2nd call told me to main in the info and a copy of the receipt). At 2 weeks, I called and they said sorry and will send out immediately. that was 6 weeks ago...Two months and I still have not received the parts. Wish I could give zero stars...product seemed good and Sams's has offered to take them back, but they are assembled...lot of work just because they can't figure out how to provide replacements for some broken parts.

I'm not sure why others say it is difficult to put together or that they had to cut pieces apart. I put this together by myself in about 40 minutes. I did have some warped pieces, but just use a long flat screwdriver and the pieces snap together just fine. I wanted it to store bag chairs by the firepit, and this size holds about 5 chairs- including 2 oversized.

This bench is not top of the line, but it only cost 100 bucks. The first one I purchased had a broken piece that I didn't discover until I had it completely assembled. I returned it and got a replacement. Those saying it was difficult to assemble or that it took a long time must not be very adept at putting things together. I thought the instructions were reasonable. I assembled one bench, made the return and assembled the second one in less than two hours. The bench is pretty comfortable and stores my sprinklers and hoses out of sight.
