I have fine, thin, curly hair and am not experiencing severe hair loss, but I wanted to prevent breakage and encourage thicker, healthier hair, particularly after menopause. As many curly-haired people know, our hair doesn't shed throughout the day the way straight hair does—it tends to get caught in the curls. Because of that, I usually notice the most hair breakage and shedding when washing or brushing my hair while it's wet.I've been using the laser helmet since 12/23/25 (1 month) and took a baseline photo of my scalp when I started. At this point, I don't see any noticeable new growth yet, which I expected, as it's still early. However, I've seen a significant reduction in shedding and breakage. Previously, my hairbrush would be full after just one wash or refresh. Now, after three days, there's barely any hair in my brush—so little that I don't even need to clean it. I really wish I had taken a “before” photo of my hairbrush for comparison.Overall, while it's too soon to comment on growth or density, the decrease in breakage alone has been impressive. I'll report back after 12 weeks with an update on progress.

I really wanted this to work! A friend of a friend swore by it, but after using it for several weeks, it appears that the hair loss was not abated and may have gotten worse.I thought at first that more hair shedding was a result of the scalp getting used to the treatment, but the shedding got even worse. I was hoping it would improve after a couple of weeks, but it did not.I stopped using it for a week, to see if a break was needed. My hair shedding got less during that time. When I started again, it got bad again.In addition, the helmet is flimsy and breaks easily. I am returning this with a broken heart. I really prayed that it would work.

I used for Two months and hadn't noticed any difference with my hair shedding . I also had a bad reaction to the helmut. I broke out with **** on my forehead and at 67 years old I was completely dismayed. I eliminated things from my diet and after a month of continuing to break out, I considered it may be caused from the helmut. I stopped using it and sure enough, that was the problem.

My hair had gotten so thin. I started seeing real improvement after several months. The “after” photo is after having used it for about a year. So easy to use and does what is claimed. Can’t ask for much more!

I had tried every remedy available to diminish hair loss. From topical to oral treatments.The helmet is easy to use, and I like that it has Bluetooth.I cannot honestly say I am seeing much improvement with my hair loss.

I've been using this for a little over 60 days. I can see a difference in the length of my hair for sure. I am hoping for more new growth but it's early. So far, I'm very pleased.

I do like red light therapy. I’m inconsistent with use but there are many benefits to red light on the head. But I don’t like how the helmet easily gets hair stuck in it. It is kinda of a bad design, considering it is supposed to be anti-shedding. It’s also not very comfortable as the suction cups pull on the hair as I’m wearing it.

I have been using this product for 11 weeks and haven’t noticed any changes. I have seborrheic dermatitis and I haven’t noticed any changes in those particular areas. I know results are typically seen 12 weeks but I haven’t noticed any changes at all. My hair is fine and falls out very easily, it’s still happening. I’m still hopeful that it’s gonna work, maybe just need a little more time.

Have used REDLIGHT cap 10 minutes every day since 12/16/25. I have not seen any hair growth.Also, it is Donna T using the cap-not Kevin T.

I wear the helmet for 10 min a day, 6 days a week. I have had it for months and have not seen a positive change. Also, the rubber grips inside is the helmet actually pull out my hair!
