Amazing!

The CurrentBody Hair Growth Helmet is "Amazing". I have been using the Helmet every day for twelve weeks. The results are positive. I have new hair growing in the temples and along my hairline. My hair feels thicker and I am loving it. There is a saying, " Why didn't I buy this sooner." I will be back at 16 weeks.

Great while the battery lasted

Since using this consistently, my daily hair shedding reduced and my hair length is the longest its been since I was a child. My 3 star review is only in relation to the battery, which no longer charges. I turn the helmet on, and within a few seconds, it shuts off. For nearly a thousand dollar purchase, this should last years, not months.

Expensive but Will See if it's Worth It

I'll change my rating if it works, but so far I've only used it twice. I wish I knew it came in Large before I bought it! I'm a man with a larger head. This medium is way too tight. The only Sam's that had these was quite a ways away in Tempe. I don't like that there's not enough stock of these in Phoenix stores and also they keep the cards out under the product even if they don't have any, at least at the Sam's on Bell Road. I felt tingling sensations on my scalp both times before the 10 minute session was over. Hopefully something happens, but $700 is too much money for this thing in my opinion. It should've been more like $400, but if it works it'll be worth it. It seems okay quality and like that it's also a pair of Bluetooth headphones. Only thing is 10 minutes only allows you to listen to 2 songs Lol. Thank you.

Too early to tell if it works but the design sucks

I don't know why they packaged this thing the way they did. It comes in a huge, heavy box. And then the device itself, sits on a giant base as if you're going to display it on an entry table or something. I don't know why they designed it this way. A compact soft pouch or bag would've been great. I'm just putting it in a closet or drawer. It's not a decorative item. Also the headphone part of this device is an epic fail. Completely unnecessary for the helmet's function and the headphones don't sit comfortably no matter how you adjust them. They just clamp onto your ears at an odd angle. If you wear pierced/earrings it's worse. I will stick this out for a month or two to see if it actually grows hair but...I feel like I should have gone with the other device I found. I'm not sure how much I'll want to do this every single night when it's so uncomfortable.

Change the plastic suction cups!

The helmet is very easy to use, and I do think it is effective. However, the inside is lined with plastic suction cups to keep the helmet slightly lifted from your head, and these cups tangle the hair, causing breakage and pulling out hair (when that is clearly all of our worst fear, if we are using the helmet). The ear pads also tangle hair. Bad design.

Hard to tell

I started using the helmet one week shy of 3 months ago. There has maybe been marginal improvement - it's hard to tell a difference in the photos. There's less hair in the shower drain than there used to be, anyway. Fingers crossed that with time I'll see a greater difference...

Hair got caught in the helmet — design needs improvement

I purchased the CurrentBody Skin LED Red Light Hair Growth Helmet and unfortunately have been disappointed with some aspects of the design. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on the effectiveness of the LED ********* itself, so my review is specifically about the helmet's design and my experience with it.My biggest concern is that my hair became caught around the helmet/headphone area during use. When I removed the helmet, a noticeable amount of hair was pulled out. For a device specifically marketed to people concerned about hair growth and hair loss, I think preventing hair from becoming caught in the device should be an important design consideration. When I contacted CurrentBody about what happened, I was advised to tie my hair back with an elastic and was told that I may be using a helmet that is too large. However, I purchased the smallest size available. Tying my hair back also doesn't fully solve the problem. I have very fine hair and shorter hairs around the front of my head that cannot all be secured in an elastic. Someone with shorter hair, layers, a bob, curly hair, or fine hair could have the same issue even if they followed that advice.I also find the built-in headphones unnecessarily large and bulky. Even with the smallest helmet size, they extend beyond my ears and don't fit comfortably. Personally, I would much rather use my own earbuds if I wanted to listen to something during ********* than have large headphones incorporated into the helmet—particularly when that part of the design creates additional places where hair can potentially become caught.I like the concept of the device and I'm continuing to use it because I want to give the LED therapy enough time to evaluate the results. However, given the price and the fact that this is specifically a hair-growth product, I think the design should be much more hair-friendly. I hope CurrentBody takes this feedback seriously and considers redesigning this area of the helmet rather than relying on users to keep all of their hair tied away from it.I'm giving the product two stars for now because I haven't used it long enough to evaluate the effectiveness of the LED therapy. If I were rating the physical design alone, I would give it one star.

Pulled Hair Out!!

For something that is supposed to help with hair growth it literally pulled my hair out! The headphones cause hair to get tangled and it’s impossible to get it out! This is a terrible design flaw. Beware of the padded headphones. They are unnecessary anyway. Who can’t spend 10 minutes without listening to something? What a pain!!

Uncomfortable and no results

Very uncomfortable on ears, also there's little rubber things inside the helmet, I guess designed for comfort, however these snag & pull your hair when taking off. So uncomfortable I hate wearing it but have still done daily use, 10 minutes a day for 3.5 months and have seen 0 results. Not worth the money.

LED Hair Growth Helmut

I used for Two months and hadn't noticed any difference with my hair shedding . I also had a bad reaction to the helmut. I broke out with **** on my forehead and at 67 years old I was completely dismayed. I eliminated things from my diet and after a month of continuing to break out, I considered it may be caused from the helmut. I stopped using it and sure enough, that was the problem.
