There is no comparison. This blender is amazing. I used to own a Kitchen Aid blender. I originally purchased the A2300 but exchanged it for the A2500. I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast and sometimes in the afternoon, too. At first I thought I would save money and just use the bluetooth smoothie preset on my phone app, which does work great. However, every time I left my phone in another room, it was a pain. I do realize this is a sign of tremendous privilege, but it was worth the upgrade. Soups also come out smoother than ever.

I am so happy that I finally bought a Vitamix. I had been debating for at least 2 years. The blending demolishes whatever I put in it. I'm truly amazed by the motor and blades. I use to taste the pulp, seeds or even chunks using my old blender but not with the Vitamin. Also, its not loud so that's a bonus. Its easy to clean and its fast.

Fantastic blender! I was hesitant like many other people have stated, but I decided to give it a shot since my other blender just broke. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED! Peanut Butter in 1 min? YES PLEASE! Almond Butter in 2 min? HECK YES! Smooth smoothies? OH MY GAWD! I chose this model because reviews stated that the standard models can be quite loud and shake all over the counter. I am very sensitive to noises, and this is manageable. After speed 8 it gets "loud" but it's nothing near any other blender I've heard. My ONLY gripe so far... is that I can't remove the blade to get a good clean. So, I am left to trust the system of running the hot soapy water for a minute in it. Sometimes I feel this doesn't get it all (I've even tried using ice to get some harder things out of the blender). Thankfully my sink has a strong spray nozzle where I can blast a lot of the peanut butter residue out.

I knew it was going to be expensive. I bit the bullet and got one and I use it almost every day. It's everything I ever hoped it would be. Some days I use it more than once. I make smoothies, acai bowls, hummus, pesto, almond milk, lots of different soups, and desserts. Very easy and fast to clean up. I have roommates, though, so the noise issue means no early morning smoothies for me. I looked into getting a cover to make it quieter, but those cost more than the Vitamix, itself. The great warranty made the price a little easier to stomach, and people keep commenting on how good I look. I think it's in part because I'm eating more fruits and veggies!

It works very well. Although, my husband decided to grind coffee beans in ours and now the canister is scratched; it's still brand new and I feel like it's already "ruined". I wish we had gone with a different series as now we feel we would have liked the touch-screen controls better but, without being able to see them in person, it's a guessing game. All-in-all, it does a nice job and we love the easy clean-up.

This is a great power machine. I can make cold smoothies and hot soups. I was very confused as to whether it should be A2300 or A2500. After all, I chose A2500. Great correct answer. She makes smoothies and soups without my supervision. I will buy a new blender accessory. There will be more recipes for me.

Putting your Vitamix on the counter to show it off would be great after spending over $700.00 to buy it but not the way the container reacts after only one month of use. The fact that this problem has been ongoing for quite awhile (and the most frequent complaint to Vitamix) makes me wonder. It turns a foggy grey - to clean it we started with the Vitamix cleaning method, then vinegar and water, bleach and water, denture capsule and water, CLR and water and finally a Mr. Clean magic pad and a lot of elbow grease. We are now using the Vitamix method after every use with warm water, vinegar, water and drying it by hand - not as we were cleaning it after every use in warm soapy water and air drying. The container is also not a warranty item and would only cost you over $200.00 to replace - makes the Vitamix a real deal. Wish I had known about this 2 months ago.

No it did not go well. I just purchased it 3 months ago for my health issues used it four times and it will not even come on. I started using this machine for my business and now everything is halted. I am VERY disappointed and threw out my old one before purchasing this so I am really inconvenienced. I would like a full refund or another machine overnighted to me. Thank you

I've been familiar with Vitamix's blenders for a long time, and just received the A2500 as a gift. I decided on this blender over other Vitamix blenders because I was excited about the smart detect technology and the compatibility with the food processor attachment. When the blender arrived, I was shocked at how cheap it looked. Right out of the box there were some nicks on the plastic and the entire base is comprised of plastic pieces that don't seem durable. The see-through container and snap on lid, while I understand it's purpose, seems less durable than the black lids. The tamper is what I was most shocked about as it resembles a bowling pin, hollow and cheaply assembled. I've talked to other Vitamix owners about this and the consensus seems that Vitamix has decreased it's quality over the past few years. I'm glad there is a 10 year warranty. I was honestly hoping for more and wasn't expecting this level of disappointment. Are Vitamix's just gonna get more cheap??

This thing is a BEAST but worth the hype! It’s extremely loud but I can deal with loud no problem....I will say that the NutriBullet does just as well so if you’re trying to conserve on costs just go with the cheaper NutriBullet I still have mine and will use it when needed. It’s lasted years...
