I bought my Vitamix and am really glad I did, my boyfriend makes a smoothie every morning and I have one for lunch, I always used to get frustrated when I went to places that didn't make my smoothies thick enough, now I create the right blend with no sugar.

Updated to a newer model - last on had the touch screen and I bought it for the preset functions went up in price to get them and went with a reconditioned model to do so. I like the dial much better on the A2500 and now with the app you really don’t need to go up to the next level to get the 5 presets. Takes seconds to pick the program you want on the app. Fabulous addition to the convenience end. Oh and the A2500 is just awesome!

I've had my Vitamix A2500 for over a month now and love it. I have made smoothies for friends and they are convinced they need one as well. After having a Vitamix smoothie, you will never again want to use any other blender. Worth the money and with a 10 year warrantee, you can't go wrong.

I have not used all the features yet and am excited to use it for soups and frozen deserts soon. I have used it extensively to make healthy smoothies and am so pleased with the consistency of my drinks. It blasts it's way through kale and every kind of fruit or vegetable I give it. I do have a hard time with getting the cover off because it clips on which is new for me, but overall would give it a strong 4.5 stars.

I bought my Vitamix 2 months ago. So far it works, but I'm not that impressed in relation to the price. You pay alot for these blenders and they can be frigidity especially if you buy the blender cups. Overall it works fine. Not too sure its worth the price. Good quality though.

Putting your Vitamix on the counter to show it off would be great after spending over $700.00 to buy it but not the way the container reacts after only one month of use. The fact that this problem has been ongoing for quite awhile (and the most frequent complaint to Vitamix) makes me wonder. It turns a foggy grey - to clean it we started with the Vitamix cleaning method, then vinegar and water, bleach and water, denture capsule and water, CLR and water and finally a Mr. Clean magic pad and a lot of elbow grease. We are now using the Vitamix method after every use with warm water, vinegar, water and drying it by hand - not as we were cleaning it after every use in warm soapy water and air drying. The container is also not a warranty item and would only cost you over $200.00 to replace - makes the Vitamix a real deal. Wish I had known about this 2 months ago.

I am enjoying our vitamix A2500 very much since purchased, using it nearly on a daily basis. I chose the A2500 over other legacy models because I like the self detect feature that automatically detects the size of the blender container and adjusts the preprogrammed dial selections accordingly. Additionally, the 10 year warranty and versatility of the machine were priorities in my decision to purchase as I believe firmly in buying quality products and service. The machine itself is obviously of professional grade and quality engineering, compared to other consumer grade appliances available through retailers.

I have been using my Vitamix for about 2 months now and love how versatile the features make this machine. I find that I am blending something every single day now, whether that be a smoothie, a soup, a sauce or a nut butter, everything comes out tasting great. It makes cooking exciting and fun and easy to get away from the same flavors every day.

So quiet and powerful… love the pre-sets. We had to order the smaller container b/c the included large container was simply too small for day to day batches. I’d rate this a 5 star for product quality, but 4 star for value as it feels like a trick that you’d have to order the smaller container… Something as large as a 60+ oz container feels like it should be in the ad-on category, but perhaps just my opinion and not backed by sales numbers!!

Out of the box, it would not blend anything with the blender setup and made quite a racket. I also purchased the food processor, so tried that and the blade spun quite nicely with the motor on. Turns out the acorn nut holding the blade with a friction fit on the blender attachment was not tight, and the blade was quite loose. I tightened down the acorn nut on the blender blade and now it blends. Maybe double check these on the way out of the factory, or tell us the torque spec for the acorn nut in the manual?
