I am considering returning this. I’ve used vitamix for fifteen years but this blender doesn’t crush my ice unless I put it in already crushed. Frozen fruit had to be individually broken up and then I still get chunks. Even if I blend on smoothie setting three times. The stomper doesn’t go down far enough so it won’t push food into the blade. I’ve reached out to customer service about returning snd haven’t heard back. Have not been impressed to say the least.

I’ve been using Ninja blenders for years and was tired of replacing them every 3 years. When I asked friends what I should get, almost all of them said Vitamix so I decided to make the investment. I am glad I did! It grinds everything! No raspberry seeds stuck in my teeth anymore and it even makes pizza dough! Its quieter than my Ninja up until speed 8 and then its pretty loud. But if you needed to be quieter, you could just blend at the lower speeds. I am officially a Vitamix fan for life!

Absolutely nothing wrong with this machine; I love the program settings, and it's a breeze to use and clean. I have an issue with textures and lumpy drinks (dry-heave) - now my smoothies are the smoothest consistency I could have imagined. The red unit looks great on the countertop too. Only thing I would improve is having the dial register a subtle 'click' to acknowledge each speed when you turn it, but that's being very picky. The machine and recipe book are worth every penny, the speed, ease and quality of food we've prepared for our growing family have made this a life-changing investment.

I bought this to replace my Ninja Blender that finally died after 6 years of daily use. So far I think I like it. My biggest complaint is that I miss having a completely removable blade when I clean it (this is something Ninja does well). Otherwise the power seems much better than the Ninja - I just have to get used to having a non-removable blade down at the bottom vs. a completely removable blade that goes all the way up the pitcher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Vitamix A2500 for around two months now and have used it many times. I've made lots of smoothies, some sauces, tried my hand at peanut butter, and have used it in pureeing. I can say that I am very happy with how it performs. It makes the smoothies smooth and it does a great job of grinding up cashews in a soup base. The only thing I've ever had an issue with is doing ice cream or pureeing lentils. The contents gets real thick and it's hard to keep it moving. I've had it give me an error message after that but I just let it cool down and it's seemed to have worked fine ever since. I bought it mostly to use in my new eating of Nutritarian eating. It is working very well compared to my old Oster brand mixer. That one didn't chop up the spinach as smooth or even the cashews in a soup base. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to many years of use from it!

I love my Vitamix. The way this machine pulverizes anything in its path is phenomenal. I’m glad I went with the smart machine with ease of the knobs. Honestly the presets aren’t super necessary so if you’re on a budget maybe go to the other model. But overall this machine performs. I’ve never had a blender like it and we’ve gone through a few.

This product really did improve our lives in many ways. We use it several times a day (smoothies, sauces, soups, nut butters, etc). My 2 year old daughter loves it and has even dabbled in trying green smoothies. Customer service is outstanding as well. Some of the friendliest folks, and most straightforward resolution of issues.

I love my A2500 so much. I used my brothers E310 and liked it until I got this one... It really is a step up. I did not think the presets were really necessary but I love just hitting the smoothie button and walking away and it comes out perfect every time!

Love this for daily smoothies for me and my kids everything comes out so smooth and delicious, I can sneak in extra nutrients which is reassuring as a mom. Can’t wait to try making salsa when my tomatoes come in . Also looking forward to fresh soup!

I love it! It’s quiet and powerful! 4 instead of 5 stars because I don’t like the single serve blending cup attachments I bought to go along with it. They have a hard time finding the sensor and are not as powerful. I recommend getting the 48oz bowl as another option instead of the single serves.
