I have had this blender for a month now and i love it...it blends ingredients so smooth and evenly...i have a problem if i feel lumps in my smoothie and this blender solves that problem....i only wish i spent a little more to get the vitamix that is a little more quiet...with the steel base

Almost 8 years ago I was given my first Vitamix 5200. I was still undergoing chemotherapy and in the process I had determined to change my diet. I loved using my vitamix and when the S30 came out, I bought one to make my mayonaisse and salad dressing. When the Mother's Day special started this year, a dear friend in Maine decided under my prodding to purchase the A2500. Every time we were together our conversation would always end up talking about food prep in my Vitamix versus her ******. While viewing the A2500 online with her and helping her to order it, I decided I needed to have one also! I wasn't sure I needed it. After all, I already had 2 different products from Vitamix I loved! The day my new machine arrived, we were leaving on a trip. Before we left I just had to make my mayonnaise and Blueberry vinaigrette dressing. This new blender totally surprised me! The wider base and the new attachments make this machine my new favorite!!! If you have a basic model or have had your Vitamix for years, you might not see the need for one of these new machines. I felt the exact same way, but I am here to tell you that you will be amazed by the difference. Thank you, Vitamix for this amazing machine!!

I knew it was going to be expensive. I bit the bullet and got one and I use it almost every day. It's everything I ever hoped it would be. Some days I use it more than once. I make smoothies, acai bowls, hummus, pesto, almond milk, lots of different soups, and desserts. Very easy and fast to clean up. I have roommates, though, so the noise issue means no early morning smoothies for me. I looked into getting a cover to make it quieter, but those cost more than the Vitamix, itself. The great warranty made the price a little easier to stomach, and people keep commenting on how good I look. I think it's in part because I'm eating more fruits and veggies!

This is my first high tech blender and it is just amazing! For anyone who is deciding between a juicer or a Vitamix, this was a clear winner for me. I’ve bought two juicers in the past, one was a centrifuge and one was a masticating one. Both had its pros and cons but eventually I got tired of the clean up process; it took at least 15 mins to prep and clean up and if you do that every morning, you get tired of doing it. So I ended up throwing out both. I bought this and the clean up process takes 1 MINUTE. All you do is rinse And clean with a little soap and that’s it. It has the consistency of a juicing if you add more water. And bonus, you get fiber that would be lost in a juicer. Highly recommend.

We have had ours for a month and I have probably used it every day. I tell my husband every day how happy I am with this purchase. It IS 100% worth the hype and money. I’ve had several other blenders all claiming to be great. They’re not. This is. Love love love it

I've had my Vitamix about a month now. I am thrilled with it. I've mainly used it for smoothies. I had 3 previous versions of another popular brand and there is no comparison. I wanted smoothies that were more like a juice, especially without chunks, but don't want the hassle of a juicer. The Vitamix makes the smoothie exactly how I want it. If I had one wish, I would only wish it was just a little quieter. Noise is a fair exchange for the power I get from it though.

So far we have been very happy with our Vitamix purchase. We have mainly used it for smoothies, but it really blends everything together so well, and clean-up is really easy. I had been resisting buying a Vitamix for a long time because they are quite pricey. Prior to getting our Vitamix, we had been using some of the bullet type blenders to make smoothies, but they didn't last, and often had problems. It seemed that we were replacing those bullet blenders rather frequently. I finally had enough of going through cheaper blenders and decided to purchase a Vitamix. When we selected our Vitamix, we chose one with a 10 year warranty. I figured that I'd spend about the same amount as the Vitamix going through bullet type blenders over the next 10 years, so it made the expense of the Vitamix a bit easier to take. So far, I have no regrets about making this investment. I'm hoping that it will be more than 10 years before I have to buy a new blender. If I have one criticism about the blender so far, it would be that the fluid ounce markings and corresponding lines on the blender are very hard to read/see. It makes measuring ingredients directly in the blender a little bit difficult, and I have to use a separate measuring cup to make sure I'm getting the correct amount of an ingredient.

I am so happy with my purchase! It is definitely an investment so I was hesitant and have been thinking for a while before I made the decision. I am so glad I did. I am very impressed with the power and ease of this machine. I have used it for smoothies and green juices = No more chunky smoothies and I have wonderfully blended greens! I have made salsa and hummus and blended part of a soup and added back into the pot. Clean up is also very easy. I have used it almost every single day since my purchase over a month ago.

I had a Legacy Vitamix for over 10 years and I used it every day, sometimes twice a day. I loved it and got my money's worth, but finally it was time to move on. I got the Ascent A2500 and splurged a little with the three program settings. I love it! The base is wider in the A2500 and this is a great feature. I have used the program settings and they work great, and I can walk away and know the machine will shut off. I hope to use this one for the next 10 years or more.

We use this fabulous machine every day. There's not much it can't do! We make our own frozen desserts from fresh ingredients now - no more chemical ice cream! Sauces, smoothies, meringues - chopping nuts, mixing batters - and it's so easy to clean!
