This was very easy to install. It captures mostly everything. I gave it four stars because there's been a couple of deliveries that were missed for some reason. Still a good cam for the price.

This is yet another fantastic Eufy smart camera product and the best video doorbell we've had. Upon moving to a new house a few months ago, we decided to make the leap to Eufy security products, a decision driven by what appeared to be high quality video feeds, no subscriptions needed, and a variety of products that would meet our needs. These reasons were all why we opted to leave two separate dominant brands, and this doorbell was the basis of all subsequent Eufy camera additions. Having made the leap, we've been incredibly impressed with this doorbell and can't recommend it highly enough. I would not give every Eufy product such high praise, but this is easily our favorite from the brand. The video quality is phenomenal, especially at night, and the added AI functionality provides a nice feature identifying generally who is at the door (someone recognized or not). Of their general outdoor camera products using AI detection, I think this camera has been most accurate in recognizing faces consistently. The dual cameras not only provide a better view but also are great for packages that get left at the door. The package detection is really quite accurate notifying us when a package is dropped off and when it gets picked up (fortunately always by us thus far). It has been a tad sensitive with a small statue on our front porch, sometimes thinking that is a package, but frankly that's on us for leaving it there too knowing this happens. We connected the doorbell directly to the Homebase 3 along with all of our other Eufy security products which seems to work best for storing footage. The Homebase also functions as a chime, so if it is conveniently located, it can be pretty loud so you don't have to buy an additional chime if you already have the Homebase. So far, I'm impressed with the battery life. This was something I struggled with from previous brands, and having read some positive reviews about Eufy's battery life, I'm happy to say that I can confirm those reviews. After 45 working days of use, which includes over 900 detected events, the battery is still at 67%. That's a pace of a 4.5 month battery life, which is double what I was getting out the other brands. It's also worth noting that Eufy offers different "working mode" options which includes an "Optimal Battery Life" mode to maximize the battery's charge. I use the "Balance Surveillance" mode, but there's also an Optimal Surveillance option as well as Customized Recordings. This wireless video doorbell checks all of the boxes I look for and the extra features and functionality push it over the top for me. Absolutely the best option I've tried on the market and I can't recommend highly enough.

When folded, the device looks stylish and modern - a glossy black surface and minimalist design will fit perfectly into any interior. ✅ Pros: • Two cameras - one main and one pointing downwards, which allows you to see not only the visitor's face, but also, for example, parcels at the door. Very convenient! • The image quality is excellent, especially in daylight. • Works without a subscription - all data is stored locally, which is nice, because you don't have to pay for your head. • Simple setup and a convenient mobile application. 🌙 Night shooting also pleased - everything is clearly visible even in the dark.

we had an earlier generation door bell camera from Eufy which lasted 5 years - got it over Xmas. We needed to replace it because the battery was dying - needed to recharge it every 2-3 weeks. It was time. I had hoped to replace just the battery but that wasn’t in the cards - I talked to several battery suppliers and they couldn’t get me on. Alas, the new one seems to have a battery that is replaceable - that is great news! Also, i see it has a downward facing camera to detect packages - that is a good feature. What I don’t like in the old one and you haven’t replace this in the new one is the way the camera disengages from the mounting bracket - it was terrible and remains so with the E340. So far so good

So far, we love the doorbell. This is the second Eufy product we bought, and we could not be happier. It is so easy to set up. The light is a great feature that we did not think of, but it sure helps when we get to the door and get the key out to unlock it. I also used my old doorbell and had no issues hooking it up. This is plug-and-play.

I use the Eufy E340 with my original doorbell chime. It was very easy to install and the small extension wires were so convenient. it was amazing that they thought to include them, It was very easy to connect to the home base and get working quickly.

Most current update : Battery life suck!.....(just saying) Had to pull out the battery to recharge every month, regardless of settings. (BUT) I still like this doorbell. Original review: Eufy's latest doorbell. It looks great, nice and sleek, and sturdy, and very well put together. Also great for the price. Charging the battery unit was not a big deal. Setup was easy. Wifi connection was quick. Apps navigation was also easy. The Cons: IMO, was (1). Battery life. After one week of using it. The life percentage dropped by more than 10%-15% with what I believed an average motion detections. (2). Night lights on the bottom and top cannot be turn off, without turning off the night vision option. It is not "On" all the time but only comes on when motion is detected and only at night with night vision option selected. Would be nice if "OFF/ ON" option is allow when night vision is turn on without interfering with the night vision ability. It is annoying when the lights come on when motion is detected. (3) Most importantly, the doorbell chime. The chime from the device can only he heard only from outside on the device itself. You cannot hear the chime when you're indoor if and when someone rang the doorbell. Existing indoor chime would need an upgrade on to increase voltage capacity, only if you know how to DIY. So you do need an add-on Chime device. Eufy should have included one without additional purchase or add-on purchase. I gave it 3 stars because of these nuances.

This is my second purchase of the E340 to add to a second home. Eufy option to stand alone or purchase a subscription service is why I like Eufy products. The Eufy E340 is a quality product and I use it with the Eufy HomeBase 3801 which allows facial recognition. The system is easy to install and training the facial recognition is also easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doorbell comes with everything you need to install onto the wall to get the best view, including a wedge you can put behind if needed. It also comes with a positioning sticker so there is no guesswork for where the screws go if you're starting from scratch. This doorbell can connect to your existing wired doorbell if you have one or run off a battery which is included. It's also not easily ripped off the wall like other video doorbells. Battery life is good and comes with a key to pop off the housing to get recharged. App was a bit complicated to set-up but I got through it, not sure it would be easy for anyone not tech savvy. Video quality is good but not spectacular considering the price. Up close it's crystal clear but go 10 ft away and it loses quality. Night vision lacks luster after 7 ft. The other problem I found was there's a delay in live notifications which means if you're trying to stop packages from being stolen, you're going to be delayed in being notified.
