Bought a week ago and great product!

It is very sturdy, took three grandads two days to complete it but directions were easy to follow.

Awesome playset but difficult assembly! My 8yo & 2yo love it!

We've really been enjoying our Thunder Ridge swingset. Although the monkey bars are still a little beyond our kids' abilities, it's nice that they have something to look forward to and grow into while each fitting so perfectly in the playhouse in the meantime. At some point we hope to add on a small rock wall, but other than that this set really has everything- the best of all worlds: slide, swings, playhouse, and monkey bars! A little pricey, I will say, but otherwise a great investment for our family.

The wood is very soft and thin, it splits and cracks easily. It's not sturdy for 3 kids to be swinging at the same time. The beam that holds the swings cracks and creeks and slightly bows. I have a 3 and 9 yr old and a 7 and 10 yr old nieces. When the kids are in the playhouse and swinging, the entire swing set is swaying and shaking. I'm not comfortable with having all 4 on at the same time. When I called to see what we could do with the cracked and splinter peices or for a partial refun (being that I spent $900 and put it together) they offered me EITHER a (1.) $95 refund and keep the swing set WITHOUT getting new parts or (2.) just get the replacement parts or (3.) refund the entire swing set for my money back. My kids would be so heartbroken if we took this swing set down to return it! It would take us a few weeks to be able to either find a new one and build it or build one ourselves, so I'm at a loss. Either way, we would need to put more money into it to make it safer for the kids! I would not recommend this or any swingset like this to anyone! Seriously, spend you $900 on building our own out of good, sturdy wood! I'm sure you will be able to find instructions on YouTube on how to build our own swingset!

IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DEAL WITH REPAIRS & REPLACEMENT PARTS, YOU GO AHEAD & BUY FROM THIS BRAND. IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK THAT MY WIFE HAD TO TAKE BACK TO SAMS CLUB TO GET A REFUND. HAD AN INSTALLER TO PUT IT TOGETHER BUT AS SOON AS HE OPENED THE BOXES, FOUND ALL BROKEN PIECES OF WOOD. HE RIGHT THEN STOPPED AND SAID HE WOULD NOT EVEN PUT IT TOGETHER REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH WE WOULD PAY HIM. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PUT YOUR KIDS IN RISK, THEN GO AHEAD AND BUY IT. OTHERWISE NOT WORTH A PENNY... BAD PRODUCT, WEAK AND TIRED WOOD, TERRIBLE IN EVERY ASPECT... SPEND THE EXTRA AND GET A BETTER BRAND...

Kids love it!

I did a lot of comparison shopping before settling on this swing set. My main criteria was that it was made from cedar so that it would be strong and stand up to the elements in the south. My husband put it together and found that in the shipping process, three boards split lengthwise along the grain. During assembly, most boards cracked or splintered when the screws were driven in. The stairs cracked and will already need to be replaced. I'm really nervous about having our boys and their friends climbing on this thing. I feel like I'll have to be weighing them and then adding up their weights each time they climb on a swing or up into the fort. I just don't have faith this is worth the cost or that's it's actual cedar. These photos were taken before anyone actually played on the set.

We bought this swing set after my son turned 3. We wanted to buy a set our kids could grow into and use for many years. We researched many swing sets, and decided on the Thunder Ridge set. We liked that it had 2 swings and the and the third was for two kids to use- Little brother will be big enough soon! The space in the fort- both the bottom and "top" floor is a good height so that as my sons grow they will be able to stand and play in it comfortably for a while. The slide has bumps along the way. It really bumps my son quite a bit. I had to teach him how to hold the sides so he wouldn't go so fast over them. The manual was fairly easy to use. The day before setting up, I had everything out of the boxes and in alphabetical and numerical order- each piece was labeled. On set-up day, it made it so much easier to find the pieces we needed as we progressed through the steps. You will need at least one drill, two is better, as well as a small crew to help assemble. Not much arrived pre-assembled as I had expected. It took 2 days for our crew of 5 to put it together. My boys love the swing set and visiting friends have a great time playing on our "playground," too.

Good directions for the most part; some could be a little better...tell which way the holes should be. We predrilled holes that used screws. It took my husband and me 3 days of working about 3 hours and one day from 9 am to 7 pm to get it done. It was worth the work; our son LOVED it!! **BTW-the delivery went great!!
