I have always found Charmin Toilet tissue to be a good choice for my home. It’s soft on the behind, holds up well with minimum tearing, and tears well from the roll. With the improvements to absorbency, softness and strength, Charmin Ultra Strong has gone from great to Outstanding. The softness, strength and absorbency of toilet paper has always been important to me. Even though I’m a guy and don’t need toilet tissue for every visit to the restroom I still want it to be all good to great in the mentioned factors. Charmin Ultra Strong is all of those. It’s softness, strength and absorbency is not only good for the behind but also for helping out with a stuffy or runny nose. We have replaced our current toilet paper with Charmin. We've even had some relatives comment on how nice our toilet paper is! One person even said they were so glad we switched from that single ply sandpaper-like paper! I will definitely continue to purchase this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the first roll the first touch seemed a bit rough. It definitely felt strong. Upon using it, however, it was very smooth. Not rough. I love the strength! Even wet it stays together. Very absorbent. I can see where you may use less of the product. I'm sold on this TP. I will make up small rolls for backpacking. It has multiple uses. Great for strong nose blows, soaks up blood well for those nasty cuts. Now it depends on price. But I love it.

It is the softest the thickest and the most reliable toilet paper around. I've tried the cheap kind and yes I paid less but I got less and my finger touched poo poo. Yes it's disgusting but true. Charmin does it's job it cleans you has a soft touch and your finger doesn't go through it. So yes I recommend it !!!!!

We've been buying Charmin Ultra Strong for ages. Just picked a new 9 roll package, and was shocked to see the narrower rolls, and the changes to the paper itself. It's rough and thinner than the prior version. It's too narrow, so you use more than before to keep your hands clean. It may still be a "mega" roll, but we are going through it twice as fast. Looks like we are a Charmin family no more. :(

Charmin Ultra Strong definey lives up to its name, it is strong and doesn't rip easily like a lot of other toilet paper does. I myself prefer toilet paper that isn't too rough but isn't too soft, so kinda in between. This toilet paper in my opinion is too soft for me. There are positive things about this toilet paper such as its thick so your fingers don't break through it and since its so thick and strong I believe you don't have to use quite as much as you would other brands. Its just not for me. If it wasnt quite as soft i think it would be perfect but its just not the toilet paper for me.
