It is much better than the original, which is what I was expecting to experience with the ultra strong. We havent bought charming for years, but now that I have tried it, I would highly recommend it. It is thicker without giving you less on a roll! Highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my wife buys all the household items, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies etc....I am always telling her to not be cheap when it comes to buying toilet paper but that's not how my wife does things, she has this way of thinking that all products are about the same, its just a "name" on the label. So when I got invited to try this toilet paper I was pretty excited. I'm a guy, I go to the bathroom alot and I like my toilet paper to feel good on my behind :) so when this came in the mail, I quickly put the rolls in the bathrooms I use, and let me tell you I was pretty satisfied when I used it. First off the toilet paper is so soft!! Second, it is nice and thick so I didn't have to use as much of it, so the toilet paper last longer, which is something I try to tell me wife all the time, a product might cost a little more, BUT if the quality is better and makes it last longer then it is worth it. Basically, I am very happy with this toilet paper, I hope my wife will start buying it, she did comment to me on it and tell me that she did notice a difference from what she usually buys to this brand and how it does feel nicer. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a nice soft, but durable toilet paper

Our household usually tries to save a few cents and goes with one of the better store brands, but when given the opportunity to try a sample of Charmin Ultra Strong through BzzAgent, I figured it was worth a shot. The first thing that I noticed when putting that first roll on the spool was that this was not the usual TP. It is noticeably stiff, but not in a bad way. Some brands are pillowy soft, but not this guy. Again, not in a bad way at all. You can just tell that this stuff is different. It's got some substance to it. IT feels . . . solid, firm. At this point, I was not sure how to feel about this. I mean, it was kind of interesting, but how would it feel in the end, no pun intended. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I was concerned that the stiffness would come thorough once put into use. That fear was unfounded however. Things felt good, still solid, but not uncomfortable by any means. To the contrary, the solid feeling made it really seem like work was getting done. Another plus, there was no tearing or breaking apart and no little balls of fuzz if you know what I mean. There was also no tearing through layers like some TP's give you, which means less layers are needed. So, as far as I'm concerned, this is good stuff. Solid and durable, but not scratchy or uncomfortable at all. Personally, I would use again. Charmin Ultra Strong really made me feel as if I was getting something accomplished. Now, sharing the house with two girls, I was wondering how things would go over. My five year old daughter did not notice any difference until I asked her about it. Even then, she wasn't too interested. It did the job and that was good enough for her. Although, she was kind of impress when I held a doubled over piece under running water to see how long it would go before disintegrating. That was surprisingly long, especially when you consider how most brands would fall apart more-or-less instantly. The wife on the other hand had a differing opinion. She prefers something a bit on the softer side, so the Charmin Ultra Strong wasn't her favorite. She didn't totally dislike it and said that she wouldn't have a problem using it again, but given her druthers, she would probably go with something with a little more cushion to it. In reality, we will probably continue to buy based largely on price, but all things being equal in that regard, I would go with the Charmin Ultra Strong again. Super soft it is not, but it's more than soft enough as far as I'm concerned. And I challenge you to find a tougher, more durable toilet paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tried the Charmin Ultra Strong, it certainly was strong as well as soft. It held up well and didn't break apart when put to task. It was as strong or stronger than some paper towels but not as rough.I will definitely be purchasing more of this style and brand in the future.

I always grew up using Angel Soft, until my fiance and I went shopping together and he put Charmin Ultra Strong in the cart. I didn't think much of it until I tried it. I fell in love the first time. The strength and duribility don't take away from the soft and fullness of the paper! Needless to say, I dont buy anything but Charmin Ultra Strong any more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While Charmin has always seemed a bit more linty than other brands, the Ultra Strong really does out-do the competition! It's strong enough that I don't have to double up, and not as linty as the other varieties I have tried. I even used it to blow my nose and it was soft, not scratchy. I would definitely recommend Charmin Ultra Strong to anyone looking for a stronger TP.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just want to start this by saying I find the quality of toilet paper to be a very valuable thing. Being in the army I have experienced some of the worst toilet paper in the world, and thanks to Charmin I have experienced the best. It is soft yet supple. You don't have to worry about it ripping while your wiping or about it tearing your butt whole up. In my opinion you cannot go wrong with charmin, it is by far the best toilet paper I have ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How does it compare to your regular bathroom tissue? I felt (hahaha) like it wasn't as soft as the brand we always use. Kind of like cardboard :) It also does not have the biodegradable factor that works well with septic and RV's. Will you continue to use it when the campaign is over? Nope. No can do as we are on a septic. Doesn't fit my life style. Would you recommend it? Well, the only person I would really recommend TP too is my wife and that is a big :negatory. Sorry. Won't be facebooking this one ;-)

We were already big fans of the Charmin brand but this Ultra Strong variety is even better. I would say there is less lint coming off the paper and floating around the bathroom as well. This will be a regular purchase for this household.
