[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my free sample of Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper and thought it would be a great product based on Charmin's reputation, I was wrong. Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper felt like sandpaper. The Charmin brand is a well known, well respected brand, but this product falls short. The toilet paper is two ply, like their Ultra Soft, but it feels like one ply sand paper.

It is thick so I used less than normal. It's soft too. Like a blanket for your bum. I recommend buying this toilet paper if you want quality toilet paper that saves you money. I will definitely purchase this brand from now on.

Hi. Ive been using Charmin Red for years, when it first came out I was telling everyone about this great product. Sadly though the quality was been steadily dropping, shame it's become like an average tp. Step up PG, go back to making it like you did when it first came out.

I am particular about my paper products and always use the same ones for a reason. I want the best quality. Charmin Ultra Strong is the best quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the issue of toilet paper and what it should and shouldn't do and how it should or shouldn't feel is a rather personal one, as we all know. Strong is always a plus, but some like it soft and gentle while others prefer a rougher sturdier feel to their TP. I prefer a certain level of strength in my toilet paper, to ensure it can handle the daunting demands I place upon it. You can imagine my concerns when I opened the Charmin Ultra Strong package and noted the softness and thickness of the TP within. This stuff is seriously plush. Could it handle the challenge I was about to deliver? Would it live up to the expectations? Since I'm sure nobody really wants an in depth analysis of the events that led to the moment of toilet paper truth, I'll skip ahead to say this...this stuff is awesome. Thick? Yup, it's thick. Soft? Yeah, it's soft too. But man is it strong. The quadruple-ply feel means using less sheets and after multiple uses over the past week, not one rippage, breakage, tear or poke-through. (You all know what I'm talking about.) I'm left feeling clean, without being violated in the process. I'm using less of the good stuff too, since it's so thick so one roll is lasting longer than the stuff I used before while my tush is feeling comforted by the soft plush feel. Oh and my wife likes it too. A lot. She got that look of wonder on her face that she does when I do something surprisingly domestic, like pick up the towels off the floor or throw my clothes in the hamper. Win-win, Charmin Ultra Strong, win-win.

It is not nearly as soft as I thought it would which was disappointing considering the name. The rolls also did not last as long as my normal brand. It's almost like they are fluffed up to look like there is more toilet paper on them than there is. Unfortunately I will not be switching brands any time soon.

I live Charmin ultra strong because it holds up to my four boys but yet its still soft enough for me and my daughter being the only women in the house we like soft .But having more guys around we need strong so with Charmin ultra strong we get the best of both thank you Charmin the Gipson family.
