[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our house we usually pick our toiler paper by what is on sale or cheapest that may be changing. I didn't know what to expect with Charmin because to me toilet paper is toilet paper. In order to see if we could really tell we put Charmin in one bathroom and our store brand in the other bathroom to see if we could tell the difference. I have to say after the last week we can totally see the difference. The Charmin Ultra Strong is exactly what its name says it is, strong. I don't think I remember once the paper ripping and I was likely using half the amount I would use with the store brand. In addition, to being strong it was also soft. I didn't notice a big difference between the softness of the two but the store brand was the "soft" kind and the Charmin Ultra Strong felt the same. I also noticed that the Charmin roll lasted longer so just looking at the price in store may be wrong because the Charmin lasts longer. Overall, I would highly recommend the Charmin Ultra Strong after doing a week "side by side" comparison to the store brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been very loyal to any one toilet paper brand. When I received my Charmin for free to sample, I began looking at the differences. I had 2 other brands in my house. Out of the 3 brands, Charmin seemed to be much softer and very strong as well. I was pleased to see that there was a good difference between the bands.

It was soft and non irritating. I have purchased this in the past and will continue in the future. Great product and I highly recommend it.

I've always bought Charmin Ultra Strong but the last batch I got had a new textured dots imprint and honestly it's terrible. Comparing to a previous roll of the Ultra Strong it's thinner, I can see my fingers through it, it feels rougher, and it shreds and falls apart like nobody's business. If I rub a sheet between my fingers, instantly the two plys separate. Not so with the old roll, which feels much more plush and is very strong and more difficult to tear. Also using it is a nightmare. Wetness seeps through so you have to use more sheets and it pills and tears EVERY TIME and just make a huge mess. I will no longer buy this toilet paper, it's unusable. No longer "ultra strong" it's thin and weak and performs like a much cheaper toilet paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new toilet tissue from Charmin has many great improvements for the bathroom. The quality is much better than the tissue I replaced. The thickness and the ability to use less make this product an improvement over other brands. While the quality is tops in the TP world, it does lack in several areas. The first is that it is half the size and not a double roll so changing the roll happens more often. As many reviews have mentioned, the sheets are not as big as the traditional rolls. Several times even with a small amount, the toilet seemed to struggle flushing. Many of these suggestions can be easily changed and improved. This would create a better product overall and I would be more willing to change from my current brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Charmin Ultra Strong for about a year now. I love it! I can use one sheet and not have to worry about it leaking through. It's soft enough for me, but to be fair I don't need to softest paper. I'd rather have the strength.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm amazed at how soft this toilet paper is, not only is it soft but strong also. I feel clean after using it. I like that it last longer then my regular toilet paper did. This is definitely my brand from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I compared Charmin to Angel Soft and my family feels hands down that Charmin was the big winner. Charmin was tougher yet gentler than Angel soft. I would definitely recommend it and will even be buying Charmin on a regular bases as to my family it is worth the difference in price compared to other toilet papers.

I must confess this is not my first time using the Charmin Ultra Strong, we discovered this gem about 2 years ago and it has been the favored one in our household ever since. And until they come up with something different we will stay with this one!
