[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So how does one review toilet paper? Really...it's toilet paper. Here's the down and dirty (no pun intended...maybe) on Charmin Ultra Strong. Background: I am a stay-at-home dad with a wife and two kids (ages 4 and 5). As such, we are a single income home. AS SUCH, I am the primary shopper for the family and have cost firmly in mind when shopping for...well...anything. Lately, I had been buying store brand toilet paper for my family due to cost and the fact that my kids use way more than they need to. Likes of Charmin Ultra Strong: 1) It is strong enough for everyone in the family. 2) There is no appreciable odor to the toilet paper. 3) It doesn't clog my toilets (except on the rare occasion of SEVERE overuse by the kids.) 4) It is available in a "mega roll," supposedly the equivalent to 3 regular rolls, I believe. Again, I have a wife and 2 preschool kids in the house, so we don't want to be changing the roll each time nature calls. 5) I have heard no complaints of irritation to even the most sensitive of...areas. 6) At the end of the roll, the toilet paper comes off the cardboard roll absolutely cleanly. I love that. There is almost (ALMOST) nothing worse in the bathroom than trying to scrape the last bits of TP off a roll before throwing the cardboard in the recycling bin. (Surely, it can't be just me...can it?) 7) Coat is comparable to other name brands. More expensive than store brand, but worth the extra cash. Dislikes of Charmin Ultra Strong (why I removed one star from the rating): 1) The design of the roll is terrible. On a new mega roll, there are two "glue strips:" one at the tip of the paper, and one about 4 squares in. I imagine these are to keep everything nice and tidy in manufacture and in the package in the store. HOWEVER, more often than not, I, personally, have ripped the tar out of a new roll of Charmin Ultra Strong, just trying to get the glue to release. I'd much rather just have the tail end glued once. 2) Um, I guess that's it. There you go. Would I recommend it to someone? Well, if I was ever in the freakish position to talk to someone about toilet paper preference and reasons why I feel the way I do, then I absolutely would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person who always have given more attention and importance to answer the call of the wild , never cared about the accessories that came along during the reigning as king of the throne, especially if we are talking about TP. I had always bought the cheaper quality in local grocery store but changed my mind after crossing my path with Charmin Ultra Strong . Not only I felt that its texture was excellent but also the quality of paper was really stong and had a very smooth texture. Charmin is a premium brand and is costlier than other brands. But it works out cheaper as it is super absorbent and you need far less paper. So on the long run it is economic. Currently Charminis gracing the throne of my most private Kingdom and am sure it will be so for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the softest toilet paper I've ever used. Much better than the cheap generic stuff I usually have to use. Plus this toilet paper is pretty thick so I've gotten more out of it than other toilet papers. Yet it still hasn't clogged up the toilet! Thank you Charmin Ultra Strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our house we just Love to squeeze that Charmin. So soft and non-abrasive at all! No artificial dyes or perfumes which is great for us! Just wish there were more better coupons on it so that we can always get it and have it in our home!

It's not bad, that's for sure-- it's a lot better than that junk you'll find at rest stops on the highway. However, there's really nothing about this toilet paper that stands out to me. Charmin is a good brand, however this "ultra strong" variation of toilet paper doesn't seem any different from their other variations of toilet paper. It's a strange product to review. There's nothing wrong with it, then again...there is nothing that I found particularly impressive about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to tell you. I have been Charmin user since Mr. Wipple was around. I am impressed with this new line. I was so strong and so soft. The one thing that I like is that you use less sheet then you would with a standard brand. It's a keeper! Mr. Wipple I will be squeezing this Charmin!!

Can't go wrong with this one and it's work it. Some toilet paper feels cheap and breaks easily, this one doesnt do that, very soft and strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family was a cottonelle family till I recieved the Charmin campaign from buzz agent. As soon as we got my 6yr old son wanted to go upstairs into our bathroom and get the toilet paper wet and do the stregenth test. I wish I would of taken a pic of the test. It passed with flying colors. One use of Charmin Ultra Strong and I was a changed man. It did the job right. My family was happy to switch. Thank you Charmin Ultra Strong for giving my family the chance to try your product. I would of never thought to even try a different brand. Had Sony bad experiences in the past. Glad I gave it another try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get it - it's strong. But maybe too strong. Do I need extra strength toilet paper? My wife definitely doesn't think so and isn't a fan. I'm not saying that it's a bad product, but I'm not going to replace my current brand with this product. I just don't think it serves a purpose that my household personally needs. I think toilet paper and consistency is a personal preference...just like if the roll should go over or under. Does it work? Sure. Does it work better than the rest? Not for me. Without too much graphics, I just don't require that thickness in the bathroom. Some people might and if that's the case, then this would probably be a great product for them. Super thick and yet relatively soft. Enough said.
