It's all about the comfort and quality for us. The great thing about this type of charming is that you honestly only need a fraction using this product compared to others. The Ultra Strong toilet paper is very thick and has a quilted feeling to it. This paper is super duper soft and doesn't tare up. Suitable for wiping bums, noses, and hair off the shower wall, it truly is a toilet paper for the ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Charmin the other day. I was suprised at how small the package was, as i am used to buying bulk TP. I was reminded of the old Charmin commercial, where Mr. Whipple was saying "don't squeeze the Charmin". Well, I defied Mr. W and tried that, finding it very resilitant to my rebel squeeze. The tissue is thick and i needed less to do my business. Overall, i had a great experience and would buy this again.

I have used Charmin Toilet paper for 25 plus years. In the last year I have noticed an extreme decline in the quality of this product. The rolls are smaller in width and I've gotten a couple of batches that were tattered due to poor cutting. I prchase the 36 roll bags. I am now trying other brands for a replacement.

I feel like it is worth it to make a switch and to use Charmin ultra strong. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I stopped using the fancy toilet papers of the world for a few reasons; It is more expensive and you go through rolls far faster than your typical Scott 1000 or generic, they tend to shred like a nice Parmesan over a good Italian meal, and the large rolls just don't fit in the average in-wall TP holder found in older homes. I was surprised to find that Charmin Ultra Strong really did eliminate the shredding issue common to most "luxury" toilet papers. It really is very strong without being harsh, and is still absorbent. The other issues stand though.. you do go through a roll faster (due to thickness if nothing else) and it is more expensive. In a perfect world, I'd like two TP holders in the bathroom.. one with the good old 1000 sheet single ply for everyday use, and Charmin Ultra strong on the other for when things get real. In conclusion, Charmin has made a great product that does what it says on the tin. However I will not likely be switching any time soon.

When I was a broke college student, I used to have to buy the cheapest toilet paper. We are talking 1/2 ply sandpaper that would disintegrate if you looked at it the wrong way. I recall once I bought some plywood-feeling, butt-massacring razor paper that had some kind of black dots in it. I'm pretty sure they were actual knot holes. Well, I am older now and money is better and I can buy whatever toilet paper I want. I always choose Charmin Ultra Strong. I even made a special toilet paper holder just for this particular size roll! No joke! When I'm at the store shopping for toilet paper (which is pretty often because my fiancé likes spicy food), I am bombarded with choices. Do I save a few bucks and buy the Angel Soft? Do I save a lot of money and buy the recycled no-name stuff and as I scrape the skin off my tender parts wonder to myself "recycled from what?" No. I grab that industrial size pack of Charmin and shove it under my cart knowing that every bathroom visit will be like cashmere kisses on my tender bits. I'm not just saying this, either. I REALLY DO only buy Charmin! After years of suffering through toilet paper that should be on a belt sander and not a roll, I deserve the best and I get it with Charmin!

It does what it's name says it does. It is strong, and doesn't tear or fall apart like other brands. But it's also soft, which of course is something everyone wants next to their skin. Who wants to wipe with toilet tissue that feels like sandpaper. Not me! I don't know how I would delicately bring up the conversation about how much I like Charmin Ultra Strong, but if someone asked my opinion on which toilet tissue to buy, I would point them in the direction of Charmin Ultra Strong! It's on that shelf buddy, at that store... that a way! It was a pleasure to have had the chance to try this tissue out, so thanks BzzAgent for the opportunity. Charmin Ultra Strong has made a fan out of me!

As well as being strong it was soft and absorbent. My only complaint is that it's too thick. It felt more like paper towels than toilet paper. Other than the thickness I very much enjoyed and would recommend buying it.
