[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra is a good product. I agree with everything in their ads - strength, softness, quality... however I'm not convinced it is the right product for me. My issue is the softness of the product - It is almost too soft for me. Using the Charmin has proven to me that my personal preference is a "less thick" and less soft toilet paper.

Always used Charmin products. Most recently using Charmin Ultra Strong. After only two years our septic system had to be opened up and pumped out (on a weekend, paying premium overtime triple fees) because the system backed up into the house. It's always been 4-5 years between pumping out our septic tank, so this was a real surprise. Turns out the Charmin Ultra Strong doesn't deteriorate in our septic tank, and there was such a thick (more than three feet) layer of undigested Charmin floating on top it clogged up everything. Ultra Strong Charmin may be "Safe" for septic systems as printed on the package, but compared to what? Aluminum foil? Wax paper? Cardboard? Unfortunately, now we've had to switch to another brand that we don't like as well as our Charmin. Disappointing, and a very expensive lesson learned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year my kid's school had a relay compitition for Halloween. One of the events included rolling TP around a kid to look like a mummy. I brought the Charming, Ultra Strong for our team. We wiped out the compitition (so to speak). While the other team's premium TP kept ripping, the Charming reptile on rolling. And the new roll size meant there was a lot of paper to keep on going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think it would be a big difference in quality of toilet paper. I don't know how anyone could use anything else. I will be making a switch for sure. It is well worth the extra money compared to bargain brand.

With the name "Ultra Strong" I wasn't expecting much softness, but to my surprise, this is some of the softest toilet paper I've used. I don't know how to go into detail on a toilet paper review without , you know, TMI, but rest assured that this is excellent. My father has Crohn's Disease, and was more than happy to test it out! Best of all it last a long time as you really don't need to use much; it really is strong.

I noticed immediately that I didn't have to use as much of the toilet paper as I do with my normal bargain brand paper. My brother and dad also noticed the difference. I believe that the savings of not having to use as much paper will outweigh the money I save buying my bargain toilet paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my Charminultra strong tissue. Less squares are needed so it'll last longer. It feels good to my tush and it works. I tell you there is nothing better than strong tissue that won't quit on you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong was just that strong. It wasn't that time of toilet paper that your hand rips through. It was durable but soft. You could really get in there and clean. It got the Job done and made me feel confident.

So if you're looking to see if this is "better" than your current TP, don't take my word for it. It gets it's job done, which is really the worst job any item could have. Keeps your hand clean, and really, that's the only requirement for a successful TP in my book.
