[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving the Charmin Ultra Strong I immediately tossed aside my normal brand to check it out. This toilet paper really lives up to the name ultra strong as it is very strong indeed. This is some of the strongest paper I've used but after a few times using, it started to remind me of a paper towel. It wasn't too rough but it was really thick and I found myself using less than I would with a normal roll, but the rolls didn't really seem like a full roll. I seemed to go through the rolls faster than my normal paper even by using less. Overall I liked the paper and I feel if you are looking for a strong toilet paper that won't rip and you can sacrifice some softness, you should really give this stuff a shot.

I had tried plush ultra ply, had some bad experience with single ply and haven't really seen the middle. Charmin Ultra strong combines the best of both worlds in that it's strong, without breaking the bank or having to raze half of the amazon to make a roll. I was very satisfied with the durability and the level of comfort was adequate. I won't say it's the softest in the world but it is sturdy enough to be used as paper towel. Seriously, you can use it for both.

I found that using CHARMIN Ultra Stong make roughing it a lot easier. Less paper to use and it es hight effective it the wilderness. And of course when you are in the comfort of your home it is comforting knowing it only take a litte and it is strong enough not to have your fingers go thru the tissue. It was thicker and more durable than a single ply. This also caused an issue because the children in the house who also used the same paper clogged the toilet. There is a need for less but overall it felt like the roll dissipated faster than normal.

It is just thick enough that you don't have to use an overload of toilet paper. We normally buy Members Mark toilet paper and use an average of 1 roll every 2 days, 1 roll of Charmin lasted 3 days for my family and is about the same price. I wouldn't recommend it for when you are "sick" though... if you are a bit tender down there. For that...switch to Charmin Ultra Soft. Ultra strong WILL clean you up very well. It will NOT shred on you (Ultra Soft will do this) BUT... it's NOT soft. It's not sandpaper by any means... but if you have been in the bathroom a lot because of a stomach bug or something and you are having a rough time of it downstairs, this will not feel really great. Otherwise it's 5 stars all the way. No question. It's strong. It's absorbent and it's exactly what you need for everyday use. I will be keeping this as my main TP and using ultra soft for when I'm ill.

Don't get me wrong, it's a fine product that works. I just can't really discern much difference from competitors or the current brand in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper. So far I have been VERY impressed. In lots of types of TP tried in the home the TP will tear leading to nasty messes. The Charmin Ultra Strong is very durable and prevents this from occurring. In addition to how strong the TP is it also is pretty softy for your bottom. I will say I have used softer TP's however none of them even came close to being as strong as this one! In a perfect world the TP would be a bit softer with the same strength. All in all I have been VERY impressed with this product & will start buying this product for my home going forward! I would highly recommend this product to anyone!
