Our household has used Charmin Ultra Strong for the past 6 years. Our latest purchase (at Sam's Club) has left us completely unhappy. The paper is so rough with the new redesign! What we loved about Charmin Ultra Strong, was just that - it was strong enough to get the job done AND it was soft. That's not the case anymore. We won't be buying again.

This stuff is really STRONG - so strong that I would suggest they NOT call it "bathroom tissue". It needs a different name. Something with "Armored" or "Forged" in the name. I'm used to unrolling at least two "feet" of my old TP for each wipe, but, with this product two "squares" were sufficient. It took me a while to take it down to only two squares, but once I did, I had the confidence that's all I needed. I haven't computed the price difference, yet, but my suspicions are that this product offers a lot more value. It's definitely strong, yet thankfully gentle. Do yourself a favor and try it!

However, once I received the product I was surprised at just how strong Charmin Ultra Strong is. It is decidedly stronger than my usual bath tissue and yet still soft enough to not be irritating. It didn't matter what my family through at it either. It held up to the challenge. We will definitely continue to buy this once the campaign is over!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t like (ok- despise) cheap toilet paper. So called ‘premium’ papers tend to be very flimsy, which isn’t good either. Charmin Ultra Strong will now be my brand of choice. This product is very soft, yet as durable as a heavy duty paper towel. It absorbs far more than anything I’ve used before. I am value conscious, and since we literally flush this down the toilet, I am picky about cost versus performance in a toilet paper. I found that a single roll lasted several days longer in our bathroom. You just simply have to use less. Thank you, Charmin, for the trial package of this wonderful product, you have earned a customer!

what was once mega tools now look like double rolls. they are also flimsy and flaky. i have used the ultra strong and soft for many years and they were great. i don't even need to use the toilet paper holder that was packaged with them when they first came out. a regular holder works now. so disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical that this would be great...I mean I knew it was Charmain and would be good, but many toilet papers are good. This has the right thickness, lack of any flakyness and most impressive is strong. It remains soft, but is firm and won't break apart. This really is better than other toilet papers and I will be using it in the future.

No other product comes close to the durability and softness of Charmin Ultra Strong. Before I received this product, the only thing I wanted to know is if Charmin could continue to consistently produce such a quality product that I believe can not be improved on. I have always used Charmin, and will continue to use it. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using Charmin tissue in years. I must say it is 10 times thicker ans softer than the store brands that i have been using. And it lasts 5 times longer. Unfortunately i will continue to use my store brand's because i have small kids that dont understand you dont have to use the entire roll to wipe. For me the cheaper brands fit my budget at this time. But thank you Charmin for the great experience.
