Sorry Charmin, after years of loving your product, I’m going to have to find another paper. Why did you decide to only produce these huge rolls? They don’t fit any of my decorative holders and a quick Google search shows I’m not alone. Please consider switching back to a normal size and I will immediately purchase your product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I said 4 out of 5, being generous, as I would prefer a 3.5 rating. For its intended purpose, it is wonderful. Not scratchy, doesn't fall apart in-use, VERY absorbant. My issue, as with most multi-ply tp, is the amount on the roll. It seemed to be wound very loosely, and didn't last very long, even with an adjustment to needing/using far less at a time. You can only make a "serving" size so small. My four roll sample was distributed between three bathrooms and was gone within two days. Maybe three. There are four of us in the family, one at work and one at school during the day, so that seemed a bit quick to me. If the price reflected that, it would be worth the extra roll changes. Until that happens, I don't see myself switching over, much to my kids' dismay :\

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swapped out a couple of rolls of our regular stuff (Kirkland Signature) for some of this Charmin Ultra Strong. For the most part, my wife and I could barely tell the difference in feel and function of the TP. I must say that the two-ply part functioned better than Kirkland. They stayed together well. Kirkland's TP sometimes separates a bit. Where the Charmin really falls short is on the size of the roll. The roll is considerably shorter, and about 1/3 skinnier than the Kirkland rolls. This makes the rolls run out a lot faster. I think it also comes in a lot more expensive than Kirkland. For the small amount of difference in feel and function, I'm sticking with Kirkland, based on the price per sq. ft.

My wife usually buys angel soft because of the price but it might be time for a serious upgrade. I liked the soft texture but I'm not sure the thickness would do well for someone with a septic tank. We recently bought a home with one and we were advised to stick to a 1 ply toilet paper. I might have to hide a roll of this and save it for myself on special occasions.

OK, we've been using Charmin for a very long time and we love the Ultra Strong product... But, why did you find the need to make your rolls smaller. I was shocked when I measured a roll and found it nearly 1/2 inch more narrow. Same price, though... Pretty soon it will be butt floss! Please bring back the original!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Charmin product is great. It is super comfortable and you can feel it right when you grab it. It is comfortable and smooth on your skin. It cleans very well and holds up regardless of what you are cleaning up. It is efficient when using it for its primary use, your butt. Very minimal pieces are needed and fewer wipes that may cause abrasiveness. It is superior to my current toilet paper and I will continue using it going forward. Price is of no concern to me and this is easily worth it.

These rolls are much softer than then the ones I buy and the three girls in my house preferred them over the other. They even noted it was softer than the tissues we buy! I think we have a new brand in our home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I didn’t really think about how difficult it was going to be to evaluate and report back on toilet paper before I accepted this campaign. Having said that lets dive in shall we. To put it in no uncertain terms I did not like this toilet paper at all and let me list just a few of the reasons why. It had the consistency and feeling on my skin of being soft textured cardboard. Now this may work for cleaning purposes but for comfort it scored very low and made me wish for something softer and more forgiving. I went to the local grocery store and priced the toilet paper and noticed that it was significantly more expensive per roll than the local big warehouse store’s product. Not to mention the fact that the warehouse stores product is much softer. Next, when compared side by side with a roll of the warehouse stuff the test roll didn’t last nearly as long. You had to pull just as much off of each roll to be effective at the cleaning job too. Overall I’m very disappointed with this toilet paper and would most definitely not switch away from the brand I’m already using. To use the marketing words of the test brand, I certainly did not enjoy the go.

Charmin Ultra Strong is soft and strong and each roll seems to last a really long time. Just a couple of squares gets the job done and there's no cottony residue left behind.
