I've been familiar with Vitamix's blenders for a long time, and just received the A2500 as a gift. I decided on this blender over other Vitamix blenders because I was excited about the smart detect technology and the compatibility with the food processor attachment. When the blender arrived, I was shocked at how cheap it looked. Right out of the box there were some nicks on the plastic and the entire base is comprised of plastic pieces that don't seem durable. The see-through container and snap on lid, while I understand it's purpose, seems less durable than the black lids. The tamper is what I was most shocked about as it resembles a bowling pin, hollow and cheaply assembled. I've talked to other Vitamix owners about this and the consensus seems that Vitamix has decreased it's quality over the past few years. I'm glad there is a 10 year warranty. I was honestly hoping for more and wasn't expecting this level of disappointment. Are Vitamix's just gonna get more cheap??

Blends very well and creates a wonderful consistency for smoothies. However, this blender is really loud. Which is kind of bothersome and a big down fall. I wish it was a bit quieter.

Our new A2500 Vitamix is everything we hoped it would be. It is so easy to use I have made numerous smoothies, soups and sherbert to date. One of our Sons is a professional chef and he recommended it.

This blender has such amazing quality! I use it daily. It’s blending power is impeccable, and the ease of use/cleaning is top notch. I was hesitant about spending so much on a blender, but I consider this purchase money well spent.

I like my Vitamix so far. It is perfect to make smoothies. My only complain of it is the lid of container, it is little hard to see locked completely or not.

VITAMIX 2500 D'NOT DO THE JOB, I CAN EVEN MAKE A SMOOTHIE WITHOUT PASSING TWICE. FOOD BEVERAGES MOSTLY IMPOSSIBLE THE WAY I USE TO. HAVE TO PUT TO MUCH WATER IN OREDR TO BLEND IT WELL.

Life changing!!!! This blends way better then I expected and as a latin I make lots of sauces and I never have to strain it as it’s not necessary with this blender!

Ive wanted a Vitamix for 10 years. Finally I but the bullet and am so pleased. The quality alone is worth the price. I am told it will last a lifetime.

This model has been a great purchase for me. I make a smoothy every morning and it's quick and blends perfectly-easy clean up, as well. I'm very happy with my purchase and it's stylish black and white look.

Very powerful. Love the warranty. Like that it is made in the US. I purchased the vitamix because all the other blenders I have owned either didn’t have enough power or the container cracked. Definitely recommend the 2500.
