This thing is a BEAST but worth the hype! It’s extremely loud but I can deal with loud no problem....I will say that the NutriBullet does just as well so if you’re trying to conserve on costs just go with the cheaper NutriBullet I still have mine and will use it when needed. It’s lasted years...

My infant daughter has severe eczema and so I've had to go on a strict elimination diet for 9 weeks and counting as I slowly reintroduce foods. I had been waiting years and years to buy a new blender, and I knew I wanted a Vitamix to make truly smooth blends. The 10 year warranty on the Ascent models made the choice for me. I am SO SO glad to have had another way to get my nutrition when it feels like I've been so deprived. Adding spinach or carrots to my fruit smoothie with some collagen powder has made this time so much easier. Be careful not to overdue it will ingredients (the vitamix can handle it easily, but your gut is not made to process that volume of fiber - and it's easy to add to much sugar, even in the form of fruit). Very satisfied with my purchase!

This blender has been a disappointment. It's powerful, that's for sure, but the smaller attachments (nut butter container and smoothie container) are borderline impossible to get situated properly so that the machine will turn on. The "smart" features are not helpful at all and I find it incredibly difficult to screw the special base on with my admittedly small hands, and adjusting them to align properly is so difficult that I find I never use them. Even the big container is a hassle, though, because the lip doesn't clip on cleanly and the container doesn't lock on so you can accidentally knock it off the base while the machine is running. If I had it to do over, I'd certainly not get the Ascent series. It's been such a disappointment.

I love it! It’s quiet and powerful! 4 instead of 5 stars because I don’t like the single serve blending cup attachments I bought to go along with it. They have a hard time finding the sensor and are not as powerful. I recommend getting the 48oz bowl as another option instead of the single serves.

I have been wanting one forever. And it does not dissapoint. The only caveat I'd say is the 64 oz low profile jug can't handle smaller sauces. So I bought the 48 oz. Just wish I had known when I bought it. But I'm glad I got the smaller jug as I make a lot of sauces and dressings with raw cashews and use the tamper. I debated between the cups and bowls or smaller jug. After research I can definitively say the smaller jug is well worth it to have both.

This is our second Vitamix. We purchased our first machine approx. 12 yrs. ago and used it almost daily for 10 yrs. When the machine stopped working we purchased a bullet and then our kids purchase a Ninja for us. We used the Ninja for several months, then went back to the bullet and ended up purchasing two other bullets within a 2 yr time until we decided to purchase the new Vitamix. This machine is just what we needed. We are using it daily for our morning breakfast and at age 61 I feel great. Vitamix is the only way to go.

It is a wonderful machine, generally. Occasionally it trips the breaker (dedicated 20 amp circuit) and i'm not sure why. It's a bit too loud when making smoothies and top speeds. We haven't adventured into the world of milks, butters, and the trendy sorts of culinary creations but we may one day. I'm not too keen about pouring hot soups into it as the container's plastic. Overall it's a nice complement to our kitchen appliances.

The A2500 was an excellent purchase. I have used a Vitamix that I purchased about 20 years ago used almost every day after purchase. It was very basic and an excellent product. I was nervous about buying a new one and opted for the A2500 so I could try out a few new features and because it gives me optional add-ons. It is very easy to use now that I know where the turn-on button on the side is located, and it works perfectly. It is easier to use than my original Vitamix and it is faster. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Not what I expected. I don't see a significant difference between this machine's performance and my other blenders although it costs 4X more. It still struggled with the same things my traditional machine struggled with (i.e. salsa's and the dry container with creating nut flours). What other machines processed well, this processed well. Don't see the cost per performance

I couldn’t love this blender more. The self cleaning feature is amazing. The tamper is so perfectly designed. The snap on/off lid is so easy to use. The plastic is durable, the blades are strong and precise. I don’t have any complaints about the way this blender operates. It’s not quiet, but I don’t feel like it is supposed to be. I’ve been able to make cookie dough, soups, smoothies, and fantastic blended drinks. If you’re curious if it’s worth the money, it absolutely has my vote. Their customer service is also phenomenal. Highly recommend!
