I got the Cuisinart Barista Bar 4-in-1 Coffeemaker to replace my second Keurig K-Cafe K-Duo Single Serve Coffee, Latte and Cappuccino Maker. The Keurig only lasted the warranty period (go figure) and since our Cuisinart appliances last much longer and also wanting the ability to brew Nespresso pods, we decided to replace it with the Barista Bar. WHAT A TREAT. The Barista Bar first of all makes a great pot of coffee with excellent flavor and balance even with the cheaper Folgers and Maxwell brands. Second, I was surprised at the exceptional flavor from the K-Cups I brewed. They tasted even better then the K-Cups I brewed from the Keurig coffee maker. Third, the Nespresso espresso pods make for a wonderful afternoon or after dinner treat. Even the frothing attachment is better on the Cuisinart compared to the Keurig as the Cuisinart uses actual steam, which leads me to the only small gripe I have with the Barista Bar. The frothing/hot water attachment designed to fit into the footprint of the Barista Bar unfortunately makes it hard to first fit a cup under it to begin the frothing process or fill a cup with hot water. Once the milk/creamer is frothed up or the cup is filled with the hot water, it makes it very difficult to get the cup out from under the frothing/hot water attachment especially since now the cup is filled with foam or hot water. It's almost as though you would need to have the coffeemaker right next to the sink, which if you can do that is ideal as the drippings of the frothing/hot water attachment would drip into you sink. Alas, I think they should have put the attachment on the side of the coffeemaker and higher instead of underneath the brewing area. We added a rolling tray to make it easier to move the coffee maker in and out from under the cabinets, which also raised the frothing/hot water attachment for easier use.

Full disclosure: I am a Cuisinart fan. I own about every pot, skillet, and small appliance that they have. But - I didn't like the grind and brew, and returned it. I then saw this come on the market and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed at all. If you're in the market for an all in one coffeemaker - this is your best choice. I have had trouble this year finding a coffeemaker that makes a good cup. This is my third coffeemaker, fourth if you count my espresso machine. I was skeptical of Nespresso pods before - having never tried them. But after using the 4-in-1, I am totally sold. The Nespresso pods aren't that expensive, and make a great strong cup of coffee. The Keurig pods results are no different than my Keurig machine I had previously, and the drip coffee is excellent. I love the frothing spout option and the option of using it for hot water for tea. There isn't a brew selection for the number of cups in the drip coffeemaker, but that is a minor detail. Overall, it has taken the place of 3 machines on my counter. Love it!

It is one of the better coffeemakers and has the ability to use the available Nespresso/K cups and is easy to use. Unfortunately, its overall height requirement precludes it form using it on a standard kitchen counter, forcing to slide it out from under the upper cabinets. This particularly annoying as it is quite cumbersome to move it. A removeable forther attachment that can be easily washed would have been better.

I love the visionary 4-1 as it is so versatile. The coffee comes out hot and I can brew fresh coffee as well as use a keurig pod or a nepresso pod. Plus I can make latte and cappuccino with the frother. It’s easy to set up and it looks easy to clean and maintain. I’d recommend purchasing this unit over the other units available in the market.

My husband likes the pods, I like brewed coffee and we both like espresso so this works for us. One unit, in one spot in our kitchen, plus it looks great. Though, the pod brewer takes a bit longer than a Keurig it still brews at the same temperature (I tested them). Several of my friends have purchased one since they have seen mine in action. I have never been disappointed in any Cuisinart product I've purchased. .I love it!

I was able to clear counter space by having everything in this one machine. All the functions work great and I am very glad I made this purchase.

The versatility between the whole pot and/or a pod option sold me. My daughter however, enjoys the steamer and cappuccino/espresso option as she enjoys creating her on drink. Be able to set the timer at night and wake up to a pot of coffee during the week/weekend is my favorite option. Clean up of the reusable filter is easy and overall functionality has been top notch.

I like the coffee maker. I am happy with the K cup unit, it works well. I have a problem with the on off function. It is very unclear when you turn on the brew function that it is actually turned off. The other complaint is after the coffee is brewed and it is in the warmer mode, the unit makes clicking noise about every 10 minutes. That is very annoying.

Great machine - entry level espresso maker + the full pot brewer. I wanted an option to be able to brew a full pot, which is what we'll use most of the time, but also to have the espresso maker for "special" drinks every now and then. It's perfect for someone not wanting to invest heavily in that aspect of their brewing. The milk frother is a bit annoying with the placement, but it is not prohibitive and I can just slide my maker out from under the counter to use it.
