I give this 4 stars only because there is one thing they could do to make this machine perfect - add a grind and brew feature. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Other than that, I am very much enjoying it. The water capacity of the single serve is quite adequate and I love that it makes both Keurig and Nespresso pods. I replaced a Cuisinart SSGB-1 which has grind and brew pot and Keurig single serve. I had a Nespresso machine next to that. The grind and brew was quite a mess to clean every time and the water capacity of the single serve was small. My new machine lets you choose the size of Keurig and the size of Nespresso. It also has a milk frother attached which can be used for hot water for making tea. If Cuisinart ever can figure out how to add a grinder to this machine it will be perfect and I'll be first in line to buy. If you're looking for testers, Cuisinart, count me in!

I want to preface this review that this machine was made and intended for 4 specific uses: 1) K-cup pods for single cup coffee, 2) Nespresso Pod original line capsule espresso shots, 3) steam/hot water wand, and 4) brewed coffee up to 12 cups. This machine saves one from buying a Keurig and Nespresso machine with added functional components, which makes coffee drinking a much more enjoyable experience. Before I go further, there are quite a few negative reviews if you do a google search on this machine that can be solved by READING THE MANUAL. The control panel is easy to use and I had no problems with it. This is coming from a student still-in school who is generally avoids reading things when I don't have to. The manual is intuitive, easy-to-follow, and saves a headache instead of trying to mess with buttons without knowing the function. Quick review: This machine is excellent and serves its purpose well given the cost. Would recommend purchasing. Long review: Here are my few thoughts regarding each of the components below: 1) + 2) K-cup and Nespresso functions: You can make a 6, 8, and 10 oz single serve coffee and a small/large espresso on the right side of the machine. the BOTTOM HALF of the control panel controls this side of the machine (including the steam wand). The water reservoir is in the back of the machine and feeds the pods and steam wand, its large and I have had no problems with leakage. It sits tight and comfortably and slides in easily. Although some may say its "held by gravity," the slide-in design secures the reservoir in place. The brew side (left) has a separate water reservoir. The K-cup pods have a slot in the back, with Nespresso in front. The Nespresso pods have a pull out attachment piece to which you have to push the pod in all the way flush with the edge before putting the pod (in the attachment piece) back in. Otherwise, I have had no issues making single serve coffee and espresso shots. 3) Steam wand/hot water: The machine sits high enough and the wand is flexible contrary to some reviews. I use a milk frothing steel cup which easily fits under the steam wand and can make steamed and frothed milk. If you want to fit a tall cup like a hydroflask, then it obviously will not fit. My only note when frothing milk is to make sure the wand is completely submerged in the milk (close to rubber holder) to prevent additional air from being sucked once a good initial foam is established. This allows the milk to texture well. I would also run the steam by itself to CLEAR the wand of any residual water. It also will take ~15-20 seconds for the want to heat up and start, but is shorter in heating for multiple immediate repeated uses. The wand also disperses hot water. Although the water is hot, my only gripe is I wish it came out at a slightly higher temperature for the purpose of making tea. 4) Brewed coffee: This is the LEFT side of the machine which is controlled by the TOP HALF control panel. The water reservoir is directly behind the filter and you can poor the amount of water you want brewed. The brew uses pre-grounded coffee and comes with a filter, but I use a #4 filter you can buy at any grocery store. When starting the brew, the machine will brew all the water that is in the reservoir. For example, if you want to make 4 cups of coffee, pour 4 cups of water in the machine prior to use. You can also make the coffee with the "bold" setting which I typically uses. The brewer is efficient and usually takes ~5 minutes to brew a 4-cup pot. Once the brew is finished, it will beep, and the "WARM" light will appear which will keep the coffee pot warm and will turn off automatically after 4 hours. If you want to turn off the "WARM" function sooner, simply rotate the knob to "auto-on" or "auto-off" and immediately rotate back to "brew". I have had no problems with this side of the machine. Overall: This machine is great for functionality and price point. It has a wide array of functions and is easy to use. If you want to make quick coffee drinks, get this machine. I may look to buying a dedicated espresso machine some point in the future to experiment with coffee making. May look to buying a coffee grinder in the future.

This barrista coffee station rocks. It does everything, and does it well. We have a 2nd home that is rented out as an Airbnb and the 4 in 1 is the coffee station-everyone lives it. We miss it when we are home, and can't wait until the winter when we can bring it home for several months.

This coffee machine has all the bells and whistles you could need: drip for any size, K cup, espresso and hot water / frother. Unfortunately, it performs all of those tasks below average. The coffee is not very good from this machine and the espresso is weak, with a poor crema. It is not worth the price. To add to it, there a couple poor executions. The frother doesn’t lift high enough for you to use a real glass, so you would have to dump the water or milk on the counter to get it out. And the water reservoir for the drip coffee is designed to poor from the carafe as if you were standing behind the machine, which of course you will never be. So from the front, expect to twist and turn your hand into weird angles, spill all over and still not be able to get the last 2 ounces of water out of the carafe and into the reservoir. In theory, this machine is wonderful. It’s just cheaply made and poorly executed. I returned it and found a machine I absolutely love that is much cheaper.

Love this machine! We love waking up to freshly brewed coffee in the morning but also the versatility of having a Kcup. The Nespresso feature has been a huge boost in our at-home coffee experience. It makes a great cappuccino with steamed milk in little time and it tastes great!

I like that it provides all the options for different pod types and a carafe. Easy to use as well. I wish the coffee and hot water came out a little hotter. To increase the temp of the hot water, I just blow some steam into it from the wand. All in all a meets the needs to have mutiple options from one device

I like the coffee maker. I am happy with the K cup unit, it works well. I have a problem with the on off function. It is very unclear when you turn on the brew function that it is actually turned off. The other complaint is after the coffee is brewed and it is in the warmer mode, the unit makes clicking noise about every 10 minutes. That is very annoying.

Great machine - entry level espresso maker + the full pot brewer. I wanted an option to be able to brew a full pot, which is what we'll use most of the time, but also to have the espresso maker for "special" drinks every now and then. It's perfect for someone not wanting to invest heavily in that aspect of their brewing. The milk frother is a bit annoying with the placement, but it is not prohibitive and I can just slide my maker out from under the counter to use it.

I was initially hesitant to buy this coffee maker due to the mixed reviews and complaints about leaking. However, after using it for over a month, I haven't encountered any issues. I'm very pleased with my purchase and appreciate the flexibility to use both pods and cups. My only desire is that I wish it was compatible with the new Vertuo pods.

Reviewing my replacement, the pod side works when it wants to. Had the 1st one replaced because I wasn't able to get the pod side to make much more than light brown colored water. The replacement is slightly better in that it sometimes makes an actual cup of coffee, it might be on the 4th attempt/pod, but better than nothing I guess. Tried the full pot side twice and it seems to work fine. Tried the expresso pod a couple of times and it seems to work ok, although the expresso shot didn't seem very hot but I'm not sure if that's normal. The pod side just like the first unit, the water pretty much goes around the pod and makes a mess. Even in the random time it works I'm not sure how because when taking the done pod out you have to be careful because the pod is full to the top with hot water. The punctured holes in the pod seem sufficient enough for water to pass through so I think it's a design flaw. I don't have time in the early morning to fuss with it so I put it back in the box and brought up my old Cuisinart machines that work great. Kinda bummed because this unit would free up space on the counter.
