This is the fourth food saver product I've owned. It's a little different than my other ones, but the more I use it I like it a lot better. I really like the separate feature for making new bags. Also the button to let you seal dry or moist food. I live on a farm so this product gets a work out with garden vegetables and meat.

Very pleased with the performance. I've purchased a small freezer to supplement the tiny freezer with my refrigerator, and wanted to purchase more items but didn't have the room. This is perfect, and I know my food will stay fresher longer because of vacuum sealing.

I had a 5-year-old model of this food saver that I used a lot. It broke and I had to replace my food saver. This is the updated verson and I love it. It does so much and very easy to use. The price was great. I highly recommend this model to anyone who buys food in bulk and needs to store it in refrigerator or freezer.

We had to replace our pushing 10 year old model because we could not replace the teflon tape strip. Boo! Foodsaver!! That being said we are really happy with the new model. It works much faster and does not overheat when packaging food after a big grocery run. Based on where our unit sits, I do have to turn it out to put a new roll in. I also wish it still had the tray that attached to the back to hold just a small number of various sized bags. It made it convenient for a quick use. All in all I'm glad that we upgraded.

This is our first food saver. We purchased it about 1 month ago after a ridiculous amount of research and reviews read. We have not had any problems. Easy to set up and use right away. Some reviews indicated that the vacuum and seal bar is awkward, but we have not found that to be the case. We use it for left overs and when we buy meat in bulk. The company states that this is not a commercial product so you can’t package a ton of meat all at once -we don’t have that need so we have not had any problems with it shutting off. Definitely recommend this product.

This model is great. Making the bags and sealing them are so much faster and easier. The canister and container attachment is so much better. I really liked my others model but this new one is fabulous. I haven't found anything I don't like. It takes up less room on my counter top. Very happy with it.

Have had it for a month only thing that I am having problem with is rhe seal lever mechanism some time it is harf to activate. You havee to make sure you press both side at the exact same time. Other then that love the bag roll feed zand seal feature.

I have used FoodSaver products for many years and absolutely love them. They are easy to use and save me quite a bit of money by prolonging the life of many foods. My most recent one is the FM5400 Series. It is lightweight and compact. I use it almost every day and love it.

Always wanted a foodsaver. Now that i have one I dont know how I went this long without one. I'm 70 now and quit most hunting and fishing and wish I would've had one earlier. I read plenty of reviews and picked the FoodSaver 5400. Wow what an awesome sealer. Even the wife found it easy to use.
